Sad day, unfortunately we found out a longtime taper, Moosh passed away recently. I met Moosh at Tammany Hall in ‘98 recording @disco_biscuits - we had the same mics and recorder! Super nice dude who would light up a room with his presence. 🍻 to a great dude 🙏✌🏼

25 years ago…
I was scheduled to start recording my first album up in Union City. The engineer called me the night before and asked to push back our session to 11am instead of 9. We obviously ended up postponing but driving up every day for the next few weeks, all we saw was ashes and a void in the NY skyline. Heartbreaking.
That night I recall going to the pizzeria where I worked to pick up dinner. Radio on and everyone was like a zombie. Sad, quiet, scared.
Our home was in a no-fly zone - sitting out back at night smoking a cigarette with my sister and hearing the jets overhead. Trying to get ahold of friends who worked in the city when cell towers were all jammed up.
It was one of the scariest nights of my life.
