In 1977 Rosemary Whyte & others worked hard with no money & little support to build the first Rape Crisis Centre in Scotland - creating a single-sex service because survivors needed them. That foundation was destroyed by the trans gang. Now the fight is to take back control.
Women started with nothing - living-room meetings, word-of-mouth growth & pure determination. They defined what real support looked like & built services that put survivors first when society & the state failed them. This is what was wrecked.
