Rebuilding my progress from scratch after switching from a side-scroller to an isometric view was a tough choice, but today I finally got player movement working! There's still a massive amount of animation and polish left to do, but it feels great to make progress again.
The best quote in gaming history for me, and one that still gives me the chills, comes from our amazing Sunbro Solaire of Astora:
"If only I could be so grossly incandescent"
Haha, you know what I just noticed? One of the two games I bought last night on sale, Ghoul Boy, is also made by the creator of @beholgar, Serkan Bakar 😆
Why does a simple transfer from the PS5 onto a flash drive take forever? 30 seconds and 1 minute clips are fine but 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, they take forever 😭
You hear that guys, it is 80% off! It's worth it. It's a very focused Castelvania-styled game. It has a very tight scope, it is quite short but what really made me love the game was its difficulty. Think early Nintendo/Super Nintendo games that were brutal with no hand holding.
I saw a 15 minute video on YouTube of gameplay from Ocarina of Time Remake and it may just be the one push I need to finally buy the Switch 2 😅
Wait, I didn't know this was a part of Phantom Blade 0 😭
Photo mode!? My favorite survival horror game just got better!
Photo Mode just dropped in #CronosNewDawn with a free update on PC and consoles! 📸
Capture every thrilling moment with various camera settings, screen filters, and fun stickers! We cannot wait to see your spooky snapshots!
Let’s be honest though, we’re all here to take cat pics!😺
I decided to start a new Demon's Souls playthrough. I'm doing an INT build. Hopefully I can be like @myras_________ and go into the NG+20s 😅
I decided to change the style of my game from a side-scroller to an isometric one. I tested a few things and isometric game development feels easier to understand for me than side-scrolling. This is tougher than I expected it to be lol
I'm really enjoying Fountains. It has that Dark Souls 1 exploration feel. We also have the ability to read and write messages for others. The first boss was a proper challenge. The only thing that is really making me mad is the slow healing speed.
Valor Mortis is done. It was a solid first-person soulslike. For me, this game was generally more difficult due to the first person perspective and movement mechanics. Here is my full review.
Now playing Fountains. Amazing isometric pixel RPG perhaps soulslike game? I'm liking what I am playing so far.
