When I was a kid I thought the long vampire fangs were hollow and had holes in the end that they drank blood through like straws
Jason Eisener, director of HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN, made a short film connecting HALLOWEEN III to the rest of the series and it's fucking awesome. It's 5 minutes long and it's free on YouTube

We are living amid destruction and devastation, facing extremely harsh conditions in Gaza. I am responsible for my twin boys and 11 other members of my extended family. I am doing my best to provide them with their most basic needs amid this painful reality
As winter approaches, our suffering and needs continue to grow. All I wish for is to protect my children and family and provide them with a safe and dignified life
For anyone who would like to donate to support my family, your kindness and support would mean so much to us

This ad popped up on my feed but it's so fucked that the message of it is "with AI you can create anything" and their example is a girl who looks 16, wet and covered in filth, speaking over subtitles in the Pornhub font

This was such a good conversation about one of the greatest movies ever
I unlocked a Patreon episode on @Soundtracker_ today for Halloween. Last year I was joined by @robrousseau to talk about my favorite movie of all time, 1978's DAWN OF THE DEAD, and the Goblin soundtrack. Links down below!
Over at the Soundtracker Patreon I talked with @ArmyStrang about a Halloween tradition of mine, THE MIDNIGHT HOUR, a 1985 ABC TV movie that was once hard to find but is readily available in a tremendous looking upscale over on YouTube. Can't recommend it enough.
Just left THE DEVILS 4K remaster. Never thought I'd get to see this one in theaters, let alone looking as good as it does. In a movie full of "capital P Performances", Vanessa Redgrave just runs away with the whole thing

I'm so glad Eric picked me for this episode because I had never seen it ad now it's a Halloween favorite
Just had a podcast network reach out to me about advertising one of their shows on Soundtracker. The show has an AI cohost. I told them to eat shit. Anyway, watching this one tonight for the Patreon recording tomorrow, and it's become an October tradition for me
Also due to relicensing of music this movie is notoriously hard to find and will probably never see another physical release. The DVD is going for $1,000 on Amazon. However, it's on YouTube in better quality than it's ever been, for free

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day.
And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Oh yeah I didn't mention the hook for this, the entire concept behind this soundtrack is that it is the mixtape that Josh was listening to in the woods that they found with their other footage. Pretty clever way to make this work. And it has bands like Bauhaus and Type O Negative
Today on @Soundtracker_ I kick off Halloween with one of the series true oddities. Did you know that THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, a movie famously devoid of music, has a soundtrack album? Well, it does, and I talked about it with 2 time Bram Stoker winner Robert P. Ottone. Links 👇🏼
