Flight Attendant: “Sir, I’m sorry, but you’ll need to move to 34B. We need your seat for a family.” Passenger: “I’m in 2A.” Flight Attendant: “Yes, I understand.” Passenger: “I paid extra for 2A.” Flight Attendant: “I understand that too, but the family needs to sit together.” Passenger: “And when exactly did I agree to separate myself from my seat so they could sit together?” Flight Attendant: “You didn’t. But we’re asking you to be accommodating.” Passenger: “Accommodating?”

I paid for an aisle seat and got moved to the middle because a family wanted to sit together.” Another passenger said: Passenger 4: “They refunded my seat fee after landing. Still didn’t give me the seat I paid for.” I looked at the flight attendant. Passenger: “So this isn’t about helping a family. It’s about finding the person least likely to fight back.” She didn’t answer. Neither did anyone else. And suddenly, the cabin got very, very quiet.

If an airline sells you a specific seat for extra money, should they be allowed to move you without your consent just because another family wants to sit together?

BOOMER MOM: "You kids just don't want to work." GEN Z: "I work two jobs." BOOMER MOM: "Then why can't you buy a house?" GEN Z: "Median home price is $420K." BOOMER MOM: "Your father and I bought ours at 24." GEN Z: "For $38,000. On one income." BOOMER MOM: "Stop making excuses." GEN Z: "Rent is $2,100. I make $3,400 a month." BOOMER MOM: "Have you tried skipping the avocado toast?" GEN Z: "I haven't bought avocado toast since 2019." BOOMER MOM: "Well, we sacrificed." GEN Z: "You sacrificed a house for $38K" BOOMER MOM: "Nobody handed us anything." GEN Z: "Mom. Dad's pension paid for your cruise." The average first-time homebuyer is now 38. Minimum wage hasn't moved since 2009. But sure. We're just lazy.

Just an opinion but: I DONT CARE IF YOU'RE FLIPPING BURGERS, I DONT CARE IF YOU'RE FIXING CARS, I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE PICKING UP TRASH... IF YOU WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK DOING ANYTHING THATS CONSUMING YOUR TIME FOR MONEY YOU DESERVE TO BE PAID A LIVABLE WAGE. You're a human being and your time is valuable regardless of what you're doing to make endsmeat. Personally I dont even know why this has to be a serious topic of discussion...lt just shows you how little people actually care about others.

Prices in America are getting absolutely RIDICULOUS. $15 for a Big Mac meal at McDonald's Over $4 a gallon for gas $12 for a movie ticket at AMC $6 for a latte at Starbucks $15 for a burrito bowl with guac at Chipotle $25 for a 15-minute Uber ride $300 for a week's worth of groceries at Walmart $150 a night for a basic Holiday Inn $2,200 rent for a 800 sq ft studio apartment You shouldn't need a six-figure income just to afford an average American lifestyle.

BOOMER: “Stop renting. Build equity.” ME: “Down payment is $84,000.” BOOMER: “Save up.” ME: “I save $500 a month. That’s 14 years.” BOOMER: “Get a better job.” ME: “I make $72,000.” BOOMER: “We bought our first home at 24.” ME: “Rates were 3%. Price was $67,000.” BOOMER: “That’s not my fault.” I know. But you vote for the people who keep it this way. And then wonder why your kids won’t call.

HOT TAKE: Sorry if this offends any homeowners but I’m actually rooting for the housing market to crash HARDER than 2008. Not because i want people to lose their homes. I want to see $700k houses become $450k houses. I want first-time buyers to stop getting priced out by investors, flippers, and people sitting on 3 properties. I want housing to become something normal people can afford again. Call me crazy, but watching home prices stay artificially inflated while wages barely move is getting RIDICULOUS.

How the fuck are people on minimum wage in America meant to survive alone? The math just doesn't work. Take home pay for a 40 hour week is around $1,150 a month after tax and Social Security, but rent alone somewhere cheap is around $800. Add $220 health insurance, $350 utilities, and at least $70 a week on food, and you're about $520 in the hole every month and that's before transport or anything going wrong. Minimum wage doesn't even cover basic living anymore.

Gen Z might be the most FINANCIALLY SCREWED generation yet. College degree: $50k in debt & NO job guarantee. Rent: Half your paycheck GONE. Buying a house: Basically a LUXURY PURCHASE. Entry-level jobs: Require 3 YEARS experience. Job security: Al is coming for your career. Groceries: $100 gets you TWO BAGS. Mental health: Burned out before turning 25. Retirement: LOL, WHAT RETIREMENT?! And then older generations have the AUDACITY to ask: "WHY ARE YOUNG PEOPLE SO STRESSED?" Imagine doing EVERYTHING you were told would lead to success, only to discover you can't even afford the lifestyle your parents had WITHOUT A COLLEGE DEGREE. Yet somehow the solution is stop buying $7 COFFEE?!

My girlfriend wants a cut of my $140k salary for her sisters. My girlfriend found out I landed a new corporate role pulling in $140k, which is double my old salary. We don't even live together, but she immediately cornered me with a financial plan for my new paycheck. She demands I send $1,500 a month to her mother to cover her mortgage, plus an allowance for her two adult sisters who refuse to hold down jobs. Her logic is that since she stuck by me when I was broke, my new wealth belongs to her entire family ecosystem. When I told her absolutely not, she flipped out, calling me a selfish pig and threatening to dump me for lacking family values. My money goes toward my own retirement and debt, not funding her lazy relatives. She's currently freezing me out until I sign a joint bank account over to her. Am I the asshole for keeping my hard-earned money to myself?

NOT SORRY FOR WHOEVER THIS OFFENDS… If you’re a grown adult paying a mortgage, bills, raising kids and you’re still getting dressed up for Halloween parties, we cannot be friends. I’ll pray for you, but you’re not coming to my house and I’m not going to yours to celebrate Halloween. I’m not playing around with demons, darkness or the devil. If we hang out, hopefully it’s because I’m bringing you closer to Jesus.

"GEN Z DOESN'T DRINK"
"GEN Z DOESN'T DATE"
"GEN Z DOESN'T BUY HOUSES"
"GEN Z DOESN'T HAVE KIDS"
"GEN Z DOESN'T SMILE" Maybe because: • They graduated into a pandemic • Then got told AI is coming for the job they just landed • The average first-time homebuyer is now 40 years old • Mortgage rates hit 7.8% the year they finally started looking • Student loan payments restarted the same year rent was up 30% from 2020 • Were told to "just network" while stuck on Zoom • Watched billionaires add over $1 trillion during COVID while they got laid off • Pay into Social Security knowing it may not be there • Got called lazy by the generation that bought a house for 2x their salary But yeah. It's the avocado toast.

Can i ask a serious question? Why does debt get forgiven when rich people rack it up on yachts, hedge funds, or failed companies. But when regular people go into debt for school, medical bills, or just trying to survive, suddenly it’s called irresponsibility. The hypocrisy is disgusting.

Nothing is funnier than a BOOMER who bought a house on ONE factory salary telling younger generations they're BAD WITH MONEY. They spent the 80s buying $5 steak dinners, driving brand-new cars, raising families on ONE paycheck, and retiring at 60 with a PENSION. Meanwhile, people today have COLLEGE DEGREES, CORPORATE JOBS & TWO INCOMES... And STILL can't afford the starter homes their parents bought at 25. But apparently the problem is our $7 COFFEE. They lived like KINGS on a FORKLIFT SALARY and called it FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE. We live like BROKE COLLEGE STUDENTS on professional salaries and get told to WORK HARDER. Maybe the younger generation isn't BAD WITH MONEY. Maybe the ECONOMY they inherited is NOTHING like the one their parents grew up in.

Buying a house is actually pretty simple: Step 1: Be born in 1960… Step 2: Buy a house for $40k in 1980 while supporting an entire family on ONE income. Step 3: Watch that same house become worth $800,000 in 2026. Step 4: Tell everyone under 35 they’re LAZY, financially irresponsible, and need to STOP BUYING STARBUCKS. Meanwhile, young couples are making SIX FIGURES combined and still can’t afford a starter home. But sure, the problem is definitely that we spend $7 on coffee. Imagine buying a house for the price of a USED CAR and then lecturing an entire generation about WORKING HARDER.

I pay a $750 premium per paycheck for medical insurance. Yet, Cigna refuses to cover my physical therapy for my herniated C6/7, because they think I don't need it, despite my doctor ordering it for me. They didn't tell me they were rejecting my coverage until after I had done 10 sessions, so I now suddenly owe over $1,000 to the physical therapist. Health insurance in America is purely a scam, and needs to be eliminated in favor of a socialized system... like EVERY OTHER NATION ON EARTH.
