🦭🦭🦭 Three seals of approval. Last Monday, three rehabilitated harbour seal pups made their triumphant splash back into the wild off Bowen Island.
This heartwarming return was made possible thanks to an ongoing partnership between @VAMMRS and the Vancouver Police Department Marine Unit. Teamwork keeps our local coastal wildlife safe.

On May 29, we admitted an adult male sea otter after he was found near Tofino, BC. He arrived emaciated, his condition remains serious, and his prognosis is guarded.

When you finally get released back into the ocean but you aren't totally sure you want to go...
Some harbour seal pups galumph into the water at high speed, while others take their time exploring their new surroundings!
