“I AM SOMEBODY.” ✊🏾 I spoke these words not just as a chant, but as a declaration—a sacred affirmation that no child should feel unseen, no soul should feel unworthy, and no people should be denied their dignity. To Black America, to the poor, the forgotten, and the oppressed: You are not less than. You are not invisible. You are not powerless. You are somebody. You carry the strength of those who came before you, the promise of those who will follow, and the power to shape the future. This Black History Month, let us honor the struggle, embrace the hope, and continue the work. Stand up. Speak out. Keep hope alive. Because as long as we believe in our worth, justice bends toward us. #IAmSomebody #BlackHistoryMonth #KeepHopeAlive #OurHistoryOurPower #SayItLoud

#OnThisDay: February 13, 1960: Nashville Students Launch Protest 500 students from Nashville’s four Black colleges—Fisk University, Tennessee State, Meharry Medical, and the Baptist Seminary—filed into the downtown stores to request service at segregated establishments. White merchants refused to serve the Black students and petitioned the police to arrest them for “trespassing” and “disorderly conduct." #RainbowPush #EconomicEquity #BlackHistoryMonth #PushForTheFuture #BHM2025
