Amtrak’s infrastructure work affecting Union Station is proceeding on schedule. VRE plans to resume full service on Monday, October 26. We will send updates if anything changes over the weekend.

VRE Fredericksburg Line Train 305 has arrived at the L’Enfant Station and is expected to depart approximately 30 minutes late.

Fredericksburg Line Train 305 will be delayed departing the L’Enfant Station due to a switch issue. We will send an update when Train 305 arrives at L’Enfant, but the delay is expected to be approximately 30 minutes.

Fredericksburg Line Train 301 is running approximately 20 minutes late due to following a freight train.

Manassas Line Train 325 is running approximately 25 minutes late due to holding for an Amtrak train north of the Burke Centre Station.

GPS is not tracking at this time for Manassas Line Train 325. Please reference our schedules at vre.org/schedule/ for arrival and departure times. We are tracking the train manually, but the Train Status map will not show updates. In the event of a train delay, we will notify riders via our alert system.

Fredericksburg Line Train 301 and Manassas Line Train 325 are running approximately 20 minutes late due to track congestion in the Alexandria area.

VRE plans to operate full service for both the Fredericksburg and Manassas lines tomorrow, Friday, October 16.

Trains 305, 309 and 313 will originate at Union Station. Manassas Line trains are operating on a regular schedule today. We expect to resume full service on Friday, October 16.

Train 301 will originate at the Alexandria Station at 1:58 p.m. Train 301’s passengers from Union Station, L’Enfant and Crystal City can board Manassas Line Train 325 (scheduled to depart Union Station at 1:30 p.m.) and transfer to Train 301 at the Alexandria Station.

Fredericksburg Line Train 313 (scheduled to depart Union Station at 6:10 p.m.) is canceled this evening due to this morning's mechanical issues. Fredericksburg Line passengers can ride: -Train 311 (originates at the Alexandria Station at 5:43 p.m.). Riders from Union Station, L’Enfant and Crystal City can take Manassas Line Train 331 (scheduled to depart Union Station at 5:10 p.m.) and transfer to Train 311 at Alexandria. -Train 315 (scheduled to depart Union Station at 6:50 p.m.)

VRE SERVICE ALERT: 313 (departs WAS at 6:10 pm) will be cancelled this evening due to this morning's mechanical issues. 313 riders can catch 315 out of WAS at 6:50 pm or can catch the MSS line train 331 (departs Union Station at 5:10 pm) and transfer in Alexandria to train 311.
