Here’s a visualisation I built of the generative design agent we use every day at Iso. IsoDDE takes the goals of our drug designers and works autonomously to produce a set of pareto best molecules. Throughout the core generative design and optimisation process you can see a visualisation of the agent’s attention (heatmap) as it balances exploration-exploitation across chemical space (here just umap visualised) to find the best molecules (greener = better)
I’ve pulled out only one pareto-best molecule to exemplify this process, but I’ll showcase in a later video how we do this at scale (1/5)

We verified that our reasoning token count matches billed API thinking tokens 1:1 for most of the prompts we queried.

We have secured $2.1 Billion investment to advance the most important mission that AI can unlock: to change the way we can improve human health and create new medicines for patients around the world.
This funding milestone was built on the strength of our AI drug design engine (IsoDDE), which has already proven its worth (aside from smashing benchmarks) by designing breakthrough new molecules and creating new scientific breakthroughs across our drug discovery programs.
Our IsoDDE is giving us a repeatable way to design new medicines for a wide range of diseases, building a future of medicine that we couldn’t unlock until now.
A massive thank you to our incredible team across London, Boston and Lausanne, whose relentless work made this possible, and to our partners who share our ultimate vision.

Today marks a pivotal moment for Isomorphic Labs. We have secured $2.1 Billion in our second external funding round, led by Thrive Capital. They are joined at the table by Alphabet, GV and new investors MGX, Temasek, CapitalG and the UK Sovereign AI Fund.
This milestone accelerates our ability to build the pioneering novel AI models that power our AI drug design engine (IsoDDE) and deploy them at scale: delivering scientific breakthroughs with a precision previously thought impossible, accelerating and expanding our pipeline of therapeutic programs toward the clinic. All with the ultimate goal of delivering life-changing new medicines to patients.
Moving forward, we will scale our drug candidate pipelines across multiple therapeutic areas, expand our global footprint, and push the boundaries of frontier AI research to power our drug design engine.
