The Spring School on Visual Analysis is over, but our exchange just started. We, as a team, learnt a lot from the lecturers and all PhD participants. Thanks so much for your contributions. We really enjoyed it despite the challenging circumstances as 1-week online event.
🤩🥳👏🎉
Middle of Spring School: we had not only an inspiring lecture by @k_freistein on visual narrative analysis, but also the 1st slot of student presentations. @dbonansinga, @niamh_cashell, @JaMannAhoj & @XuYi_Shirley presented their innovative+diverse projects. Really enjoyed it!!🥳
2nd day of our Spring School on #VisualAnalysis was also a blast!🎉👏🤩
Great lecture by @nechri on detecting violence in images, hands-on guidance by @jennifer_bast on analysing visuals of right-wing populist politicians + interesting group discussions!🙏
First day of our Spring School on #VisualAnalysis is over - organized by Nadine Hesse(@icesEUF) & @ofra_okn. Great participation, interesting discussions (e.g. what are values, how to detect them & role of context knowledge in the interpretation) + great lecture by @TommyTrillo
Well, the first project year is over😳🥳
It was an exciting year under these pandemic circumstances.
We are looking forward to the next 2 years🤗

Hello Twitter folks,
First virtual meeting was very productive + enjoyable!
For the next three years we will analyse the role of digital social & news media in creating political value polarization among citizens & in promoting the rise of populism in Europe.
#ValCon
