👏Thank you @GovernorHobbs for your veto of #HB2309. This action preserves one of the few economic development tools that has attracted significant investments in our economy. The thoughtful use of GPLET has transformed downtown Phoenix and Mesa into economically productive areas with new housing developments. These successes provide a blueprint for other cities and towns across the state to use GPLET to bring economic vitality back into downtown areas and incentivize the development of affordable housing. Preserving this economic development tool ensures other communities can achieve similar results and improve their urban quality of life.
