#GEO has today announced highly positive results from its trial soil geochemistry programme at the Gorge Project in Western Australia. 🔹 Exceptional peak assay of 7.74 g/t Au at the Gorge Mine target. 🔹 Gold detected in 244 of 245 samples (≈99.6%). 🔹 5 samples exceeded 1.0 g/t Au – considered extremely anomalous and may indicate the presence of a high-grade gold system. 🔹 27 samples returned >0.1 g/t Au – considered strongly anomalous. 🔹 Gold anomalies at Gorge Mine remain largely open in all directions. 🔹 Pathfinder elements indicate IRGS & orogenic gold system signatures. #GEO has identified 9 further exploration targets at the Gorge Project following completion of the final airborne geophysical interpretation - expanding the target inventory from 3 to 12 areas and materially strengthening GEO’s geological model. Key highlights: 🔹 Gorge confirmed to be centred on the regionally significant Wyloo Dome - a geological setting associated with major Australian gold deposits including Telfer and Fosterville. 🔹 9 further exploration targets identified, expanding the Gorge target inventory to 12 areas. 🔹 Rank-one targets Gorge Mine, 401 Prospect and MAG001 all further upgraded. 🔹 MAG001 shows coincident magnetic, radiometric, structural and surface features considered consistent with an intrusion-related gold and/or IOCG-style mineral system. 🔹 Major structural corridor, possible intrusive rocks at depth and multiple prospective fault intersections identified. 🔹 LiDAR identifies 24 historic shafts, 12 trenches and extensive quartz veining - demonstrating more widespread historic activity than previously recognised. 🔹 Results share characteristics observed within a number of globally significant mineral systems and materially strengthen GEO’s geological model.
