🏈 CCS SCOUT RECAP | TEXAS × LOUISIANA Two recent scouting stops: Gladewater vs. Tatum and Ruston vs. Alexandria. Plenty of talent—and reminders why getting eyes on athletes in person matters. 📍 RUSTON vs. ALEXANDRIA FINAL: Alexandria 27–21 A physical, hard-fought game tied 14–14 at halftime. Both programs responded to adversity, and Alexandria delivered key plays down the stretch. 🔎 Jakyrin Griffin | Alexandria | S/ATH 📈 CCR™: 9.3/10 @K_himothy One of my biggest standouts. K5 impacted both sides of the ball. Closing speed, physical tackling, a jet-sweep chase-down stop, and an interception kept putting him in my notes. After seeing him compete in person, I have him at 9.3. 🔎 Kason Williams & Noble Williams | Alexandria | RBs ⭐ Kason CCR™: 9.2/10 ⭐ Noble CCR™: 9.3/10 @Kasongothands @nwilliams_4god Both ran with power and great vision. Kason showed the ability to cut back, get outside, and finish—including a power TD, a 35+ yard gain, and a late 10-yard cutback run. Noble’s patience in short yardage stood out. This backfield makes a defense earn every stop. 🔎 Karsen Sellers | Alexandria | QB CCR™: 8.9/10 @karsensellers Made plays with his arm and legs. A touchdown run and critical fourth-quarter completions highlighted his ability to deliver in important situations. Extended a late play to find Alex Fontenot for a key first down and connected with Kelton “KJ” Ray in the fourth quarter. 🔎 Alex Fontenot | Alexandria | WR CCR™: 9.2/10 @AlexFontenot27 Delivered a critical late reception to move the chains. An important contribution in a game decided by one possession. 🔎 Ahmad Hudson | Ruston | TE Preliminary CCR™: 9.7/10 @AhmadHudson9 The catching ability is real. An incredible one-handed TD catch was erased by a penalty, but he later scored on a back-shoulder fade. Credit Alexandria’s defense for making Ruston work to get him involved. 🔎 Dalen Powell | Ruston | RB Preliminary CCR™: 9.3/10 @DalenPowell Physical running, vision, and an explosive 60-yard run. Showed he could create a big play as well as run with power. 🔎 Letravious Williams | Alexandria | Safety 📈 Updated CCR™: 8.9/10 — previously 8.6 @LetraviousWill2 Made plays in space and finished multiple tackles against high-level competition. The bigger the competition, the bigger he continues to play. At this point in my evaluation, his height takes a back seat to what he puts on film. Closing space, finishing tackles, and producing against talented opponents support the increase. 🎯 LOP: FCS Scholarship Prospect 📈 Upside: G5 Evaluation Don’t let the measurements keep you from watching the player. 💯 Additional defensive notes: Tyler Bowman with a sack and Alexandria’s #4 linebacker with a sack. 📍 GLADEWATER vs. TATUM + LATEST PROSPECT UPDATES Turnovers and responses to adversity shaped this matchup. Both teams faced difficult moments, and Tatum handled those stretches better. 🔎 Quincy Davis | Tatum | SS/OLB CCR™: 8.9/10 @Quincydavis2027 Continues to dominate defensively and force turnovers. His ability to impact possessions keeps giving college staffs reasons to take a closer look. 🎯 LOP: FCS Scholarship Prospect | Strong D2+ 🔎 Trayvion Watts | Gladewater | RB/LB CCR™: 9.0/10 @TrayvionWatts Since that matchup, Trayvion bounced back with his biggest game of the year: 🔥 27 carries 🔥 261 rushing yards 🔥 3 touchdowns 🔥 9.7 yards per carry Now at 1,227 rushing yards on the season. Power, vision, balance, and finish—backed by production against quality East Texas competition. 🎯 LOP: FCS Scholarship 📈 Ceiling: G5 Evaluation / Scholarship Upside
