Shailesh Pandit,43, should rank as a rare amateur astrologer for the Dakshina he asks from his Yajman after his predictions come true. As Dakshina he demands ethical conduct. At least 32 police officers have stopped taking bribes after meeting him. They are amongst many doctors & other professionals whom he has made to take a successful pledge of ethical conduct.  An ardent devotee of Maa Amba who does intense Sadhana every single day, the Bhavnagar-based Pandit is known for his accuracy of predictions. He also correctly maps the past. He says he owes his prowess directly to Maa Ambe as he uses it for the betterment of the society. People come to him when they are deeply distressed. He uses this psychological advantage to not just get them out of their troubles but also bring them on the ethical path, if they have strayed. Indeed. Corruption by bureaucracy , professionals & political class is the main reason for the falling ethical standards in India’s public, bureaucratic & professional space - signs of which are tell-tale. I just imagine how India will transform if all the spiritual figures of Bharat who command massive following take the course chosen by Pandit. Thankful to Dr Prem Kandoliya & my ethically strong son, Samarjit Singh Mahurkar, for introducing me to Shailesh Pandit.

Brilliantly made video explaining the art of chitra-kavya, the art of solving fascinating optimization problems using letters! Super happy to see my open-source TTS, Vāgdhenu (prathosh.in/vagdhenu/), being used in such magnificent ways. Thanks for creating this, @udbhava.

healthcare is tough because..."Inspite of the patient, you have to diagnose, treat and get a good name. And not because of them". Compliance is that bad. Its a billion dollar business waiting for placebo effects of a quackery model.

This sounds better becoz even after raising complaint via app, following it up via @TANGEDCO_Offcl and them sending a person, no answer was given, closed without resolution: what choices do we have? Contracted Assessors are extremely bad.
🚨🚨 TNPDCL to Introduce Self-Assessment of Electricity Bills Through Mobile App! Tamil Nadu electricity consumers will soon be able to generate their own bi-monthly electricity bills by uploading meter readings through the TNPDCL mobile app. 🔹 How will it work? Open the TNPDCL app and select Self-Assessment. Enter the electricity service number. Capture the meter's kWh reading using the phone camera. The system will automatically calculate consumption and generate the bill. Invoice will be sent via WhatsApp and SMS. 📅 Rollout Timeline: Pilot launch in select areas within 2 weeks. Statewide rollout targeted by December 2026. Consumers can submit readings up to 2 days after their billing cycle ends, helping avoid delays that could push consumption into higher tariff slabs. ⚠️ But is this a solution to the root problem? TNPDCL is introducing this feature amid a shortage of meter assessors and complaints of delayed readings, inflated bills and incorrect assessments. Consumer activists argue that TNPDCL should not shift its billing responsibilities onto its 2.5 crore consumers, especially when meter assessment costs are already included in electricity charges. With a shortage of meter assessors and complaints of billing discrepancies, digital self-assessment may offer temporary relief. However, consumers should not have to shoulder the responsibility for a service they already pay for.

This perfectly is my case with cars. I can drive but can never sit with (mostly) anyone else. Especially with drivers who dont drive the way I do. It is worse in share maxis. In Autos I dont get this problem. I prefer buses if I am not driving.

For an adult, sitting in the front passenger seat and looking ahead towards the horizon can help. Keep your head supported, avoid reading or scrolling, and take breaks on long journeys.

One thing healthcare lacked and failed to build is primary/secondary/tertiary care as a team and a trust for the team. Patient has no clue to this and refuse to accept when shown around. I see it as a huge opportunity.

I will take 20. Just poor.
What Your Watch Says About You 1. Rolex: Bought it with his first bonus to stop the bullying. 2. Two-tone Datejust: Gullible enough to believe it when the AD said he'd move him up the list for a real watch. 3. Cartier: It was a gift from a girlfriend who won't let him attend bachelor parties. 4. Richard Mille: Still goes clubbing after 40, and wears it every day except when he's being deposed for fraud. 5. TAG Heuer: Got it for his 18th birthday and then never amounted to anything. 6. Patek Philippe: Judges you if you don't recognize it, and makes sure you notice. 7. F.P. Journe: Threatened to leave California until the board invented a new class of stock. 8. Tudor: Drives a Toyota but says, "it's basically a Lexus." 9. Audemars Piguet: Uses Instagram like a chick, and still tells Vegas stories. 10. Vacheron Constantin: Has two Rolexes at home, and no regard for your opinion about anything. 11. Hublot: Owns a chain of car washes but says he's in private equity. 12. Jaeger-LeCoultre: Thinks he's James Bond but is watching porn alone at 2 a.m. 13. Omega: His dentist lives a more interesting life. 14. IWC: Never gets promoted, and his wife cheats on him. 15. Panerai: The action-hero watch for guys who brag about cheating on their wives. 16. Breitling: Regional sales, medical devices. He flew on a Cessna once and still talks about it. 17. Apple Watch: Hits on girls by talking about Padel and his biomarkers. 18. Grand Seiko: Doesn't get invited to parties. 19. Whoop: Hasn't worn a watch since the Series A. 20. No watch: When he controls time, he decides what time it is. Or he's just poor. 21. Two watches at once: So he'll know what time to get out of the next FTX.

I know only the other way with chalk boards as mischief galore: Ice More and Rice Idly at a menu board got corrected as Rice More and Ice Idly.
A retired teacher in Glasgow has corrected the spelling on every shop sign on her street, in red marker, for 30 years. The butcher's "Fresh Sausages Daly" became "Daily." The chippy's "Fish Supper's" lost its apostrophe. Nobody ever complained. They just left the red marks up. Last spring, a new café opened. The owner spent £2,000 on a hand-painted sign: "Best Cappuccino in Town." The teacher read it from across the road. She walked over, uncapped her marker and stared up at it. The owner came out. "Madam, that's a £2,000 sign." "Yes," she said. "And I'm very sorry." She raised the marker...

What a joke!! Unnecessary panic created among common public today when the real threat was yesterday. The red alert is frequently misused across media outlets to generate hype and gain traction. When genuine rain arrives, no one bothers to alert. #Chennairains #Monsoon2026 #SWM2026

Build muscle memory. Thank God for your reflexes. And dont think what happens to others wont happen to you because so far it has not. Know there are 3 things involved: you, your machine and the environment. Pray!
Driving is four things: observe, interpret, correct, drive. The last one is easy. The first three take patience and experience. You watch the car ahead, but also the one behind it. You read the two-wheeler's front wheel and the driver's head turn before the vehicle moves. In India, add two more questions at every junction. Who is coming from the wrong side? Who will jump the red? Who will turn without signaling the intent? So at a green signal, look both ways before you go. Someone is often still crossing. Leave yourself an escape route: space ahead, space to one side. And the rule that holds it all together: Underestimate your own skill. Overestimate the other driver's chance of error, voluntary or involuntary. Most accidents are not caused by bad drivers. They are caused by confident ones who trusted the road to behave.
