My unbiased analysis of yesterday’s opposition rally at Ramleela Ground
I think this rally proved to be the biggest jackpot for the Modi government. Here’s why:
13 crore voters were deleted across India, and 47 lakh voters were deleted in Delhi alone.
Why didn’t even a fraction of these 47 lakh voters join yesterday’s Congress rally?
Forget 47 lakh, even 47 people didn’t show up. Hardly 30,000–50,000 people were present, and those were mostly party volunteers.
Even after a month-long campaign, Rahul Gandhi failed to get support from the common public. That is the biggest victory for the Modi government.
SIR, CEC, and “vote chori” are not important issues for ordinary citizens this has now been proven.
So why is Rahul Gandhi so obsessed with this issue?
Two explanations come to mind:
1. To whitewash his own failures and blame them on someone else.
2. To discredit the Indian democratic system, possibly on instructions from China (the Vietnam meeting).
Whichever the reason may be, since the public is not aligned with this issue, the Modi government now has a free hand to deal with it accordingly.

Panic !! .. The opposition promised 10 lakh people. Delhi Police estimated 50,000. Pointing out a 95% shortfall isn't panic. It's arithmetic.
A government in panic cancels permissions. This one gave the opposition an NOC, a 10am to 5pm slot and 3,500 cops for security. The opposition set the target. The opposition has to own the scorecard too.

In 'PPP per capita' terms India is growing faster than China was at one stage. That's something amazing. So the transformation is going to be faster.
But India will be much better than Mexico, Brazil, Thailand in a decade, and on par with China in many aspects (by PPP).
Because, in 2030s:
- India's manufacturing will become a big contributor to its economic prosperity.
- India's exports will be many times of what it is now.
- India's massive investments in national infra and logistics now will start paying huge dividends.
- And most importantly, the Indian rupee will start appreciating sometime in 2030s due to all the above. It can't be kept weak even if India wishes.
- The AI enabled tech acceleration in 2030s will contribute to faster transformation of India.
- India's next infra push starting soon is going to be in developing its cities to world class, modern standards and providing quality housing for all.
So that's why I keep saying the world will experience "the great Indian short squeeze" in 2030s.
Due to adversarial attacks and infowar, to hurt India in many ways, India is being shorted by the world as being some laggard incapable of improvement.
Indians themselves have been made to believe this by constant propaganda using everyday issues (which were much worse before.)
And suddenly, in 2030s, the world will realize they have been misled about India. They will land in India to experience much better infra and facilities than home. They will see most Indians living affordable and wealthy lives with low crime and high trust.
It will be a Megasthanes, Marco Polo, and Mark Twain moment for the west, discovering India, all over.

See this 👇👇
HALF of the ground is EMPTY
Most of the CHAIRS 🪑 are EMPTY
Not more than 15000 have turned up
Such a FLOP SHOW

IMPORTANT: One HUGE difference between June 2023, when the INDIA alliance was formed and the November 2026 Ramlila Maidan rally. The Congress is now firmly in the driver’s seat, with regional allies playing a supporting role. Equally significant, Rahul Gandhi has emerged as the principal face of the opposition, something that was far less evident three years ago. A political shift worth noting. 🙏

For the second consecutive year, I returned to Goa to take on the Ironman 70.3 challenge. I am glad to have crossed the finish line once again.
There were moments when excruciating pain and relentless cramps made every step an uphill battle. Crossing the finish line made every bit of the struggle worthwhile.
The journey continues to make me a better version of myself!
Heartiest congratulations to all participants who took up the challenge this year, and a special shout-out to the volunteers of this world-class organisation, Ironman 70.3 Goa, for making the event memorable.

Forget India 🇮🇳 . Forget Modi. Forget the BJP.
Let this sink in: 269 MILLION people moved out of extreme poverty in just 11 years.
Not statistics. Living, breathing human beings struggling for food, shelter and basic human dignity.
Political will can transform lives on an extraordinary scale.
In times when millions have lost their lives to war, conflicts and poverty, this is probably One of India’s greatest victories since independence.

My takeaway from the day.
Even Rahul Gandhi will wonder why he called this rally…
Do you know: This report on India's amazing poverty alleviation accomplishment in the last decade has been on the World Bank site since early October?
But nobody in Indian media or GoI of various ministries posted about it, until after Oct 29 when the post I made got the topic trending on X.
Now, it is being covered by international media too as a major win for India. I even saw some Indian media covering the story as "breaking" reading the words of my post verbatim!
I think it would be so much better if Indian govt and Indian media start looking around for positive stories on India proactively to cover. There are so many around and they are not being taken to the public.
Anyway, I am happy I could do my bit for the world to talk about something positive on India. The news has come as a huge dose of whitepill now for Indians.
According to World Bank's latest report, India's extreme poverty has fallen from 27.6% to just under 2.6%.
And for Indians living under Rs. 400 a day (lower middle income), it has come down from 57.7% of the population to 16.1%.
Remarkable achievement by India given the rupee depreciated and the inflationary pressure of a fast growing economy.
