Decentralization is powerful, but it puts all the responsibility on your shoulders. I always advise people to look for solutions that use multi-party computation or distributed backups. Don't let your keys become a burden for your heirs. #Web3Security #Inheritance #Crypto

A seed phrase written on a piece of paper in a drawer is not an inheritance plan. It is a single point of failure. Your digital legacy deserves the same professional security as your physical estate. #Security #CryptoAssets #WealthManagement

I remember the early days of cryptography when everything felt experimental. Now in 2026, we have the tools to make digital inheritance seamless. Seeing a family successfully transition assets without stress is why I do what I do. #Cryptography #TechHistory #Crypto

Exchanges haven’t bothered to list legacy project tokens - here’s what we told the SEC: that this was because of concerns over SEC reclassifying tokens as securities and we proposed a fix… but the heart of the matter is that Exchange listing teams (I’m thinking of you Kraken) are using wholly outdated criteria to choose which assets to list eg social media following and txns but legacy token projects haven’t been allowed to decentralize by prior SEC administrations leading to a lack of American crypto projects being listed priority being given to meme coins We’ve asked the SEC to tighten up the proposed regs and to issue certifications swiftly. More to come soon

1/ @Vault12's @wasima has published his second book: Everyday Crypto, the plain guide to owning crypto well. Here is why we think it matters, and why the two chapters we care most about are the ones on backups and inheritance.

9/ The book is for the person with fifty dollars of crypto on a phone and the person with fifty million. The questions are the same. Only the zeros change. Available now on Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble and independent bookshops. everydaycryptocurrency.com

10/ If you only read two chapters, read 14 and 25. Then back up your words properly, and tell one person you trust where the plan is. That is most of the job. The rest of the book is for when you are ready for the rest.

Today my second book is published: Everyday Crypto. An Everyday Guide to Cryptocurrency, managing your crypto wealth and protecting yourself and your family. Crypto has stopped being exotic. A quarter of Americans, and one in twelve British adults, now own some, and most of them bought it on their phone in a few minutes. Nobody told them how to keep it, who really holds it, or what happens to it when they are gone. Everyday Crypto is the plain guide to owning it well. It answers the questions people ask me most often and rarely get a straight answer to. Is it too late to buy, and how much is a sensible amount? The app says my crypto could be earning, so where does the yield come from? My coins are on an exchange: do I own them, or does it? I bought a hardware wallet, am I safe now? A text from my bank, a call from my son: how do I know it’s real? And the one that started the whole series: what happens to my crypto when I die, and who can my family call? The book is built from true stories rather than theory. The exchange that failed with the customers’ money inside. The hardware wallet whose faulty dice cost its owners their coins five years later. The text message that opens a months-long con. Each one shows what went wrong, why, and the calm habits that would have stopped it. Then it changes register. For the holder of real wealth, and for the wealth managers who have spent years forbidden from touching this asset, it sets out custody that survives an audit, the concentrated position, crypto philanthropy, and inheritance that works on the day. The regulators and legislators in Washington and Westminster who are, at last, writing rules that let banks and advisors offer this safely get a chapter of their own, because that is where crypto goes next: into the ordinary bank account. Five questions run through every chapter: how much, who holds it, in what form, what the tax authority needs, and who inherits it. They are the same questions at fifty dollars a month and at fifty million. Only the zeros change. It is the second of The Everyday Guides, following Who Holds the Key?, and like that book it assumes nothing beyond the ability to use a phone. You don’t need to become a security expert. But by the time you finish this book, you will know how to protect yourself and your family. Available now on Amazon (Kindle, paperback and hardcover), Apple Books, Barnes & Noble and at independent bookshops through Bookshop.org. Details and all the store links are at everydaycryptocurrency.com. If you read it, a review on Amazon or Apple Books helps more than you would think. Thank you to everyone who made it possible; you know who you are, and you are in the Acknowledgements.

Exchanges still haven’t listed VGT, even after @Vault12 completed or retired every original commitment and fulfilled every other requirement laid out by the SEC. Why? They fear the SEC could reverse a token's transition out of an investment contract. Our proposed fix: coindesk.com/policy/2026/10/… sec.gov/comments/S7-2026-27/…

If you weren't here tomorrow, would your family know exactly how to recover your digital assets? It’s a tough question, but one we all need to answer to protect our hard-earned gains. How are you handling your crypto backup? #CryptoCommunity #SelfCustody #Inheritance

Lý do? #Crypto #SEC #CEX #Altcoins
