The sample provided by the threat actor claiming we have is a compilation of publicly available stealer logs and not any internal or stolen data.
OI Search does not log queries and so the advertised data is fictitious.
🇬🇧 🚨 THREAT ACTOR CLAIMS BREACH OF OSINT INDUSTRIES, OFFERS INVESTIGATION DATA FOR SALE
A threat actor on an underground forum claims to have breached OSINT Industries, the UK-based OSINT search and investigations platform, and is offering the allegedly stolen data for sale.
The actor claims the data includes:
* Customer data
* Internal investigation files
* Records of searches and queries run on the platform
* Records tied to law-enforcement queries
No record count, price or sample has been published so far.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
If real, this is more sensitive than a typical customer leak. Query logs from an OSINT platform can reveal who was being investigated, by whom, and when, which could expose ongoing investigations and the people running them. The listing is thin on proof so far, so treat it as an unverified claim until samples surface or the company responds.
This is an unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation that OSINT Industries was breached.
