AUDI BOSS IN CRITICAL CONDITION Half of the corporate executive board knew nothing about Audi CEO Gernot Döllner’s (57) campaign appearance alongside U.S. President Donald Trump (80). The leadership of the supervisory board was only informed at a late stage. Employees are outraged and are now demanding special meetings of the supervisory boards; there is even talk of involving the annual general meeting. Within VW, frustration with Döllner is mounting—with some even discussing his dismissal. Meanwhile, Audi and VW are facing intense backlash from incensed car owners, who are threatening to boycott vehicles from both brands in Germany.

Left-wing leader Lula has won Brazil’s presidential election. He prevailed against the right-wing candidate Bolsonaro—who, however, refuses to acknowledge the result. According to the electoral authority, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been elected to a fourth term in office. He won the runoff election against Flávio Bolsonaro—the son of the far-right former president Jair Bolsonaro, who is currently under house arrest. Lula secured 51.8 percent of the vote, compared to 48.2 percent for Bolsonaro. The Superior Electoral Court reported that the incumbent received nearly 4.4 million more votes than his opponent. According to pollsters, an unexpectedly high voter turnout helped secure Lula’s victory.

The Independent US Trump lost control and ordered me to be 'quiet' in the Oval Office. Then it got personal Andrew Feinberg Updated Oct 22, 2026 at 10:23 PM “For doing my job, I became the target of Trump and his team. Soon after, Trump lectured and unleashed at me his White House rapid response, who called me a “Mongoloid Moron” – which is a slur for someone with development disabilities, a phrase I would never use – and the Vice President on his official government account labeled me an ‘imbecile.’”

Donald Trump has been ordered by a US judge to cooperate with the discovery process mandated for his lawsuit against the BBC and to sit for a deposition by 11 December – or else he could be subject to sanctions, including the possible dismissal of the $10B lawsuit. The lawsuit stems from a Panorama documentary aired by the BBC that spliced together comments made by Trump during a rally on 6 January 2021, before the US Capitol riot. While the broadcast was not readily available to view in Florida, Trump’s team has argued that he was personally damaged by the broadcast under Florida’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Anna Kelly (Principal Deputy Press Secretary) tops the list in current speculation and on prediction markets (e.g., Kalshi, with about 15–25%). She is already at the White House, has worked under Leavitt and briefly under Zacharia, is experienced in dealing with the press, and has been mentioned as a possible successor in the past. An internal promotion would ensure continuity Other frequently mentioned names (in no particular order of favoritism): • Scott Jennings (CNN commentator, former Trump defender) • Steven Cheung (current White House Communications Director—a more senior role) • Katie Miller (podcast host and wife of Stephen Miller) • Other long shots such as Alina Habba or external MAGA media figures

Trumper: "Trump is the best president we've ever had!" Interviewer: "You think he's better than George Washington?' Trumper: "Definitely, he's the best forever! I'm voting for him in '28! Two more years ain't enough!" Interviewer: 'That would be against the Constitution!" Trumper: "Doesn't matter; they did it for Obama!" Interviewer: "But he didn't run! Trumper: "That's because they didn't want him!" Every time one of them talks, it becomes more crystal clear that education needs to be one of the highest priorities in America; these people are voting! 😳

It’s Always About Deals Putin’s cronies with KGB backgrounds now control large parts of the Russian economy. The game is played by the rules of organized crime: If you fall out of favor, your plane explodes, you fall out of a window, or you and your family die under mysterious circumstances. Those who toe the line are allowed to keep amassing wealth. The U.S. under Trump, on the other hand, is currently in the process of transforming itself into a kleptocracy: Trump, his family, and his extended inner circle are shamelessly enriching themselves, while continuing to present themselves as representatives of a democratic superpower. Trump’s own motto is obvious: “L’État, c’est moi” (even if he doesn’t speak French).
