Equanimity is not blind tolerance of evil or a costume for apathy.
It’s an endurance cheat-code, a cornerstone of poise, a golden gift paid for every nanosecond you observe & allow sense phenomena arising — & a fundamental key to peace.
Plus: it re-opens nearly all options

“I would rather have questions that cannot be answered than answers that cannot be questioned.”
~ Richard Feynman
Great compassionate script for encouraging a little more inner integration, self-soothing and so empowerment. 👏
I’m sorry
for the pressure
to fill every silence.
Thank you
for what I do remember.
I love you
through what remains uncertain.
I can leave a space
unfilled,
record what comes naturally,
and care for what I feel today
without inventing
what happened yesterday.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
a bodily sensation
to become an alarm,
an alarm
to become a prediction,
a prediction
to become a certainty,
a certainty
to become a command,
and a command
to become an action
before I check
what is happening around me.
Please forgive me
for expecting myself
to interpret every sensation
perfectly.
I’m sorry
that feeling afraid
has sometimes become
another reason
to fear myself.
Thank you
for trying to protect me.
I love you.
I can notice my surroundings,
check for an immediate danger,
and choose a response
that fits
what I can establish now.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
rest
to become stillness,
stillness
to become noticing,
noticing
to become discomfort,
discomfort
to become
“something is wrong,”
and “something is wrong”
to become
“I must keep moving
until I cannot feel this.”
Please forgive me
for making rest
another performance
I have to succeed at.
I’m sorry.
Thank you
for the work
that brought me this far.
I love you
when nothing is being produced.
I can let rest
be brief,
ordinary,
and unfinished.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
a need
to become embarrassment,
embarrassment
to become silence,
silence
to become an unmet need,
an unmet need
to become resentment,
resentment
to become accusation,
and accusation
to become another distance
between myself
and the care I wanted.
Please forgive me
for expecting another person
to hear
what I could not yet say.
I’m sorry
for the ways
I have made a request
sound like a verdict.
Thank you
for the need
that helps me understand
what matters.
I love you
enough to speak plainly:
“I would like company.”
“I need time.”
“That hurt.”
“Can you help?”
“No.”
“Please stop.”
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
saying no
to become disappointing someone,
disappointing someone
to become hurting them,
hurting them
to become being bad,
and being bad
to become owing them
access to my time,
my body,
my attention,
or my agreement.
Please forgive me
for confusing care
with unlimited availability.
I’m sorry
for abandoning my limits
and then blaming myself
for becoming exhausted.
Thank you
for the boundary
I am learning to recognize.
I love you
enough to keep it
without making another person
an enemy.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
another person’s harmful choice
to become something
I should have predicted,
something I should have prevented,
something I must have permitted,
and therefore something
I must confess
as my fault.
Please forgive me
for placing responsibility
where it does not belong.
I’m sorry
for adding accusation
to injury.
Thank you
for the possibility
of distinguishing
what happened to me
from what I can choose now.
I love you.
I can seek protection,
support,
repair,
or accountability
without accepting blame
for another person’s actions.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
forgiveness
to become forgetting,
forgetting
to become returning,
returning
to become trusting,
and trusting
to become reopening a door
before anything
has changed.
Please forgive me
for believing
that compassion
requires unrestricted access.
I’m sorry.
Thank you
for the lessons
I can keep
without repeatedly
reopening the wound.
I love you
enough to let trust
depend on conduct,
consistency,
and time.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
responsibility
to become total responsibility,
total responsibility
to become blame,
blame
to become shame,
shame
to become punishment,
and punishment
to become what I call
self-improvement.
Please forgive me
for trying to become better
by treating myself
as someone
unworthy of care.
I’m sorry.

I
for
give
myself
that I have
accepted
and allowed
a moment
to
become
a feeling,
a feeling
to become
an interpretation,
an interpretation
to
become
a conclusion,
a conclusion
to
become
a rule,
a rule
to
become
a story,
a story
to
become
a name,
a name
to
become
who
I
believe
I must remain
and
I allow myself
to
examine
each connection
without
assuming
that
every connection
is true.
Please forgive me
for accepting and allowing
“I felt alone”
to become
“I am alone,”
to become
“no one understands,”
to become
“no one could understand,”
to become
“there is no point explaining,”
to become
“I must hide,”
to become
“no one sees me,”
to become
“this proves I am alone.”
I’m sorry
for the loneliness
inside that circle.
Thank you
for the wish to be understood
that remained
even when I stopped reaching.
I love you.
I can begin
with one person,
one sentence,
one honest detail,
one opportunity
to discover
whether understanding is possible here.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
being misunderstood
to mean being rejected,
being rejected
to mean being unwanted,
being unwanted
to mean being unworthy,
being unworthy
to mean needing to perform,
needing to perform
to mean hiding what hurts,
hiding what hurts
to mean receiving care
only for the face I show,
and receiving care for that face
to mean
“they would never care for me.”
Please forgive me
for making acceptance
a test
that no one could pass
because I could not let them see
what needed accepting.
I’m sorry.
Thank you
for helping me notice
where protection
has become concealment.
I love you
before the explanation is perfect.
I can reveal something small
and keep the right
to choose
what remains private.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
a difference
to become disagreement,
disagreement
to become disapproval,
disapproval
to become rejection,
rejection
to become danger,
danger
to become an enemy,
an enemy
to become permission
to stop listening.
Please forgive me
for hearing an attack
before checking
what was actually said.
I’m sorry
for the times
I have wounded someone
while trying
not to be wounded.
Thank you
for the chance
to ask again.
I love you
enough to leave room
for a correction.
I can ask,
“What did you mean?”
and,
“What did you hear me say?”
and,
“What happened?”
before deciding
what the whole relationship means.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
being wrong
to mean being foolish,
being foolish
to mean being exposed,
being exposed
to mean being humiliated,
being humiliated
to mean losing belonging,
and losing belonging
to mean
I must defend every claim
as though my life
depends on keeping it.
Please forgive me
for attaching my worth
to the survival
of an explanation.
I’m sorry.
Thank you
for what a correction
can make possible.
I love you
while you learn.
I can change my mind
without putting myself
on trial.
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
uncertainty
to become suspicion,
suspicion
to become searching,
searching
to become finding a resemblance,
a resemblance
to become a connection,
a connection
to become a cause,
a cause
to become an intention,
an imagined intention
to become certainty
about what someone
must be doing.
Please forgive me
for crossing those distances
without checking
the steps between them.
I’m sorry
for frightening myself
with conclusions
I have not established.
Thank you
for my ability
to notice patterns.
I love you
enough to ask
which patterns hold
when examined.
I can write:
“This is what I observed.”
“This is what I inferred.”
“This is another possibility.”
“This is what remains unknown.”
And I forgive myself
that I have accepted and allowed
not remembering
to become something missing,
something missing
to become something hidden,
something hidden
to become something deliberately concealed,
and something deliberately concealed
to become a story
I feel compelled to recover.

Dammit was the mascot of a U.S. Marine dive bomber squadron and the only female to see combat during the Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942. She served as an early warning system because her acute hearing allowed her to detect approaching aircraft. When Marines saw her dart into a foxhole, they knew to prepare for an air raid. Dammit also produced kittens named Helldiver, Hellcat, Hellion, and Hellbent that became mascots for other squadrons. Her smallest kitten was deemed unfit for military service and simply named Hello.

Some truths are hard to accept because they change the whole story in your head. Suddenly, things you thought were real don’t feel the same anymore.
And no matter how much you try to go back to normal, you know something has changed forever.
It’s a strange kind of grief.
You didn’t lose a person or a thing.
You lost a belief. An illusion.
A version of reality you thought you could trust. And once you see the truth, you can’t unsee it.
You can’t go back to the way things were.
You can’t pretend you don’t know what you know.
That’s the cost of waking up.
It’s painful.
It’s disorienting.
It feels like the ground has shifted beneath your feet.
But it’s also necessary.
Because you can’t build a real life on a foundation of lies.
You can’t move forward while clinging to an illusion.
So let the old story fall apart.
Let the truth reshape you.
And trust that what’s real — what’s actually true — is worth the discomfort of losing what wasn’t.
Brilliantly put & very true. We must turn the tools of language to break assumption, relative truth & stagnancy, not least obscuration & reductivism of so many kinds
Contradictory, absurd, counterflexive & geometrically stark language pattern usage
Frees will, spirit & Awakeness
To turn language against itself is the highest form of literary art. The texts that matter most are those that attack the very medium they inhabit - powerful exactly because they refuse the lie of transparency and force language into open, self-inflicted strain.
What survives the assault is not communication but friction: the medium exposed, compromised, and made to confess its limits.

There is a being called love that teaches me to suffer.
Who teaches me to pass beyond pain.
Everything passes away, love alone remains. We should do everything for love, We Should forget ourselves unceasingly.

Imagine, all humanity is suddenly gone.
There are only few more people, in different parts of the world. One from each culture, from each language.
But no one has an idea of each other's existence. And got the same instructions.
There is only you, nature, the Divine, and all that left after humanity.
You got a chance to start all over again.
What will you start from?
Now, stop waiting humanity to be gone.
But start all over, now.
As if it would be.
100% !

Love this.👍🏼
Speaks to me of the radical non-blame mentality, required for a consciousness shift to happen.
Why?
To avoid a species cull,
That allows the planet recover,
As cilvilisation starts all over again.
This is not the first time our species has developed & reset.
