FLIP: One step closer to the Moon! 🌘 Venturi Space’s leadership team, including Gildo Pastor, President and Dr. Antonio Delfino, Director visited our strategic partner Venturi @Astrolab_Space in Los Angeles, California. The visit brought our teams together to celebrate a major milestone for FLIP, as the rover enters the final stages of preparation for its journey to the Moon aboard Griffin-1 from @voyagertech_ . Two years ago, FLIP was revealed. This year, it’s going to the Moon! 🌘 In October 2024, Venturi @Astrolab_Space & Venturi Space unveiled FLIP: a lunar rover designed to test critical technologies on the lunar surface. FLIP is preparing its journey to the Moon, equipped with Venturi Space’s technologies, including hyper-deformable wheels and high-performance batteries. We can't wait to see FLIP on the Moon!

Designed by @SachaLakic, #ALTALUNA features a fold-out dashboard that puts essential vehicle information and controls within easy reach. This Human-Machine Interface is designed to provide astronauts with clear, real-time information throughout their missions.

Venturi Space was in Türkiye for the @IAC2026Antalya, connecting with the global space community. At the Swiss Pavilion, one of our hyper-deformable wheels was on display, showcasing a key technology set to reach the Moon aboard Venturi @Astrolab_Space's FLIP & CLV-1 rovers later this year and in 2028. With Dr. Antonio Delfino, Director of Venturi Space, this congress was a great opportunity to meet with representatives from @NASA, @esa and key partners across the space industry. A special congratulations to Geneva on being selected to host #IAC2029! This successful Swiss bid was jointly led by Swissmem, the Swiss Space Industries Group and the Swiss Space Office, with the support of K.I.T. Group Switzerland, SXS- Space Exchange Switzerland and the Geneva Convention Bureau. Happy New Year, Mars! As Martian Year 39 begins, the Red Planet invites us to imagine the journeys still to come. Among those possibilities is a Martian adaptation of FLEX, envisioned by @Astrolab_Space, which would incorporate @Venturi_Space ’s batteries and hyper-deformable wheels. Drawing on the lunar FLEX architecture, this rover concept could support scientific and logistics missions. It would combine autonomous mobility with an integrated drilling and prospecting system intended to locate and extract water beneath the Martian surface. From the Moon to Mars, new worlds to explore: and an opportunity to take Venturi Space’s technologies further.

ALTA LUNA started with a vision. For Gildo Pastor, President of Venturi Space, ALTA LUNA is not simply about imagining a new lunar vehicle. It is about creating a practical mobility solution capable of supporting the first inhabitants of the Moon in their everyday operations.

Venturi Space took part in the International Space Summit in Paris from September 9 to 10, bringing together key players from across the global space ecosystem. For this international event, Venturi Space revealed ALTA LUNA in a world premiere, its new lunar rover designed to support mobility, work and exploration around future lunar bases. Venturi @Astrolab_Space's CLV-1 was also on display. Designed for future crewed lunar operations, CLV-1 will integrate critical Venturi Space technologies and is expected to operate on the Moon in 2028. The Summit also provided the opportunity to present ALTA LUNA to @EmmanuelMacron, President of the French Republic, and @PhBaptiste, Minister for Higher Education, Research and Space. Gildo Pastor, President of Venturi Space, Dr. Antonio Delfino, Director of Space Affairs, and Jean François Clervoy, astronaut and Venturi Space Ambassador, welcomed them and presented ALTA LUNA and Venturi Space’s vision for the future of lunar mobility. Dr. Antonio Delfino also took part in the “Lunar Exploration” panel alongside Daniel Neuenschwander of @esa, Takeshi Hakamada of @ispace_inc, Giampiero Di Paolo of @Thales_Alenia_S and Trent Martin of @Int_Machines, discussing the next steps and challenges shaping lunar exploration. Being part of this major event reflects Venturi Space’s broader ambition: developing critical technologies and vehicles to enable the next generation of lunar mobility.
