If you treat people who fall, assessing for BPPV needs to be at the top of your list!
Latest meta-analysis by Pauwels et al., suggests that BPPV increases the odds of falls and negatively impacts spatiotemporal parameters of gait. Particle repositioning maneuvers improve falls, fear of falling, and gait during level walking!
