I'm a pushy F1, and I know it. On ward round, I always find myself saying "why are you making that decision ... what does that mean? why why why?" Because without this, I'd be passively writing plans with no insight. The Foundation Programme isn't a training programme.

Marina & I are both very saddened by the passing of David Moores. He was a loyal Liverpool fan whose dream came true when he was appointed Chairman, & he did a tremendous amount to help the Club. Our condolences go to his family. He’ll be greatly missed by all who knew him. RIP

What an amazing project by Jessica Myring and @sally_shillaker to create the useful clinical resource GPPs for healthcare visitors. A great example of the collaborative approach and how working together with our mainstreaming colleagues can work so well.
Very true!
Genetic counselors are important in the healthcare space. Not only are they well trained and skilled in genetics, they are able to understand the full picture of what can increase a person’s risk for developing certain diseases. myriad.com/5-things-about-ge… #GCappreciation

Fascinating study on unselected endometrial cancer showing 3% due to LS with a higher than expected proportion due to PMS2. Also interesting that 1% had BRCA pathogenic variants- again raising the question of TAH for BRCA carriers
