Thrilled to be joining the @TSN690 team calling @CanadiensMTL games on radio this season. A huge thanks to all those who helped me along this far. Broadcasting games in the best hockey league on the planet is a true honour. À bientôt Montreal!

Sunday night showdown in Montréal between the Habs and Predators to cap off a busy week with 5 calls in 7 days for me. As Jon mentions here, we’re excited to welcome Barry Trotz, GM of the Predators, into our broadcast booth at the 1st intermission. Enjoy!

Happy to be teaming up with Sean Campbell for the show tonight. Also thrilled to have Rob Suzuki (Nick’s Dad) joining us for the first intermission show. Join us on TSN 690!

With 6G in 10GP to start '23-24, this is the most goals Sean Monahan has had to start an NHL season since he was a rookie in '13-14 and also put up 6G in his first 10GP as an 18/19 year old. *Let this be a reminder to turn your clocks back tonight like Sean Monahan already has*

Congrats to Jim Gilchrist on 3,000 calls in the OHL last night. Incredible broadcasting milestone. One of the absolute best guys you will ever meet on the circuit. A good pre-game laugh will Jim is an essential part of preparation for a game in Kingston.

This will be the 1st meeting between Rohrer and Reinbacher in the Swiss National League. Pretty cool moment for two Austrian kids who grew up 15mins from one another, moved to Switzerland at 12yrs old to further their hockey careers, and are now both Montréal draft picks.

David Reinbacher returns from injury today to suit up for Kloten vs Zürich. It's a game that also features another Habs prospect in Vinzenz Rohrer playing on a line with former Canadien Sven Andrighetto for ZSC.

David Reinbacher's newest teammate in Kloten is former Montréal Canadien defenceman Nathan Beaulieu 👀

Saturday night at the Bell Centre, and not only do we have the Habs vs Jets on TSN 690 with myself and Jon Goyens, but Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is also dropping by our booth at the 1st intermission for a chat. Enjoy the show!

Through the first 6GP of the season, the Montréal Canadiens have allowed the fewest 5-on-5 goals in the entire NHL. #1. Montréal: 4 GA (6 GP) #2. Boston: 5 GA (6 GP) #3. Anaheim: 6 GA (6 GP) #4. Dallas: 7 GA (5 GP) #5. Arizona: 7 GA (6 GP)

As a team, Montréal are 59.5% in the face-off circle through 4 games. That ranks #1 in the NHL with the 2nd place team (New York Rangers) coming it at 55.7% on draws through 5 games. Last season the Habs were 48.5% on face-offs, ranking them 25th among NHL teams.

While it's still early, as of today, the Montréal Canadiens have 3 of the top 4 face-off takers in % among qualified candidates in the entire NHL. 1. Jake Evans (MTL): 64.0% 2. Sean Monahan (MTL): 63.9% 3. Boone Jenner (CBJ): 63.2% 4. Nick Suzuki (MTL): 63.0%

Kaiden Guhle back on the ice this morning ahead of practice after leaving Tuesday’s game vs Minnesota with an upper-body injury. @TSN690

Fresh look for Jake Allen today at Habs practice. Those pads are spotless @goaliesonly @TSN690

Best seat in the house for tonight’s home opener in Montréal. The wonder-kid, Connor Bedard makes his Canadian market NHL debut this evening against the Habs. Join myself and @gourmet_hockey for all the fun on @TSN690.

Kicking things off in style tonight on TSN 690. Myself and @jpoconnorMTL on the call for Leafs vs Habs. The last 7 first meetings of the year between Toronto & Montréal have been decided by 1 goal.

1st of 3 straight between the @MapleLeafs and @CanadiensMTL tonight. Myself + @jpoconnorMTL with the call from Bell Centre as Tanner Pearson makes his Habs debut playing with Jake Evans/Brendan Gallagher. 7pm start on @TSN690
