CLUB STATEMENT
The club would like to address rumours circulating on social media regarding unacceptable behaviour following today’s game away to Seaham Red Star.
After a brief investigation, we can confirm that Billingham Town supporter Phil Smith has received a lifetime ban from the club and has been reported to the Northern League, The FA and Cleveland Police.
Although we are delighted to see Town win, and appreciate that celebrations can occasionally go a little too far, ordering a strawberry daiquiri in a pub, with the lads, on a matchday cannot—and will not—be tolerated.
Furthermore, to ensure the club does not encourage similar behaviour in future, lager tops will no longer be served in the clubhouse.
The club considers the matter closed.

Surely the official club social media can get an interview with Rosen about what’s happening this season on and off the field

Chris Wilder has been sacked by Sheff United and reappointed as manager since Aston Villa last scored a competitive goal

I still can’t believe that in 48 hours I’ll be on stage at the London Palladium!
Used to watch it on the telly as a young boy with my Mum and Dad every Sunday night, never dreaming I would be headlining it one day
2 more sleeps 😄

Yep. This is a good squad. These results don’t represent that. But they should & they can. As for the owners, words fail. Except they should consult proper football people this time - which they clearly aren’t.

Ruben Selles promised changes after the international break and in a way, he delivered them. The only issue was that United were worse than before - although he didn't agree with me on that point

If ever there was a sacking performance that was it. Be amazed if Ruben Selles survives it. Said in my column I thought he had two games - barring an embarrassment, which that was. Owners reap what they sow. What they did in the summer was madness. #SUFC

What am I watching? Can barely muster the words. Chaotic off the ball, confidence shattered, a sorry collection of individuals. Wholly predictable but no less painful. What folly from the boardroom.

I don’t blame the manager, he should never have been appointed.
Whoever decided he was the right man should never ever be allowed anywhere near a footballing decision again.
A decent manager will still get this team into playoffs this season.

From the 3rd best team last season to the worst in one change of manager. Absolutely clueless decision from the owners.

Embarrassing & shocking in equal measure! Clearly Selles has to go & quickly but the real authors of this absolute car crash are the owners who have demonstrated that they have no clue about football & our club. The sooner they leave the better! 1/2

Some clubs (owners) get exactly what they deserve.
Maybe the algorithms aren’t so smart after all.
