I shouldn't laugh, but...
A round of golf for the England players and team management in Lahore ⛳ #CricketKaJashan

Watched the 2nd innings today and really enjoyed it But that's because low-scorers are so much more interesting than run-fests England really missing Archer this series. Could conceivably have won all 3 matches with him in
Am I the only person who found South Africa v. Australia far more entertaining than the run-fest ODI between England and Sri Lanka? I went off ODIs ever since 250 stopped being a par score many years ago! Now I just watch the highlights

Bit off topic, but noticing a lot of people panning Mark Chapman for his hosting of Match of the Day last night Is it not possible there was something in his personal life which had really upset him? Maybe not, but feels like people are quick to judge without knowing the facts

Not seen any of the England innings so hard to make big judgements, but pleased for Duckett Just feels as if everyone is waiting for a chance to bin him off despite his really good record

They do 104 overs on days 2 and 3 but not 4 I get teams need to go home so start 15 minutes earlier and finish 15 minutes later
Replying to @ViewfromtheBpod
If play is lost on day 1 and days 2,3&4 look glorious, start earlier and finish later to get the overs in. 60 overs lost day 1? 1000 am start day 2.

Staggering that people just expect journalism for free If you don’t think it’s worth paying for then stick to club interviews/releases You’ll quickly notice the difference
This is still rumbling on over on The Phoenix page. After the initial comment about the site being 'a con', this guy took to posting 'Shame no one will read it' in replies to my posts of new content on the site. When I pointed out that the site has hundreds of subscribers, he came out with this. I had to read it a few times to comprehend it - he's concerned about interviewees giving up their time for free, but thinks that the interviews should then be written up and given away for free. I think it's time for me to step away from that conversation 😂

"They said [video] showed Afghanistan U19 captain Sohail Khan bowling an 11th over, one more than the maximum. "The over was later officially credited to Shah Faisal Rahimi, though the Bangladesh management maintained Sohail had bowled it." You what?! cricinfo.com/story/bcb-flags…

There seems to be a lot of calls for Sam Curran to be dropped I may be wrong but I thought he'd done ok recently and perhaps is rusty after his injury lay-off And he was unlucky first match with drops off his bowling I think he balances the side and should be persevered with

Good interview and once again revealed how McCullum and Stokes made the England side a cult with no dissent
Great to sit down with Chris Woakes and discuss his excellent autobiography Why he felt it would be a “weakness” to stand up to Bazball mania How he felt when Bob Willis gave him 0/10 And all the details on his last dramatic day in Test cricket

Pollock is really good on comms
Excellent storytelling by Shaun Pollock on team meetings and how it doesn't always help... Perhaps why MS Dhoni didn't believe much in them and at max had a minute or so before games! Also, notice the quality of commentary here compared to what Indians are fed with! 🙏@abcsport

Can't wait to see the line-ups for South Africa-Australia I don't think SA have their batting positions right but Aus have so many questions to answer I'd replace Maddison, Labuschagne and Webster for Harper, Green and Inglis/Connolly Also, how good has the catching been!

Notts would have spent months meticulously planning for the 2027 campaign and where to prioritise their budget But with James Anderson possibly on the market, it's time to put those plans on hold to go all out to sign him viewfromthebridgepod.substac…

I think I'm in a minority not seeing it as a red because I reckon the goalkeeper gets to the ball first But not giving a foul originally was bizarre in the extreme
That's a red card ffs. The level of incompetence there is off the scale. How's he not going to get a shot away there? Yet another decision that has gone against #nffc already this season.

Probably my favourite goal of all time from my favourite player Used to love listening to Colin Fray on comms when I lived in Notts
23 years ago today: - Andy Reid runs the length of Upton Park - Then runs out puff - Then smears a shitpinger into the top corner. Sweet mercy. What a goal, son.

Really enjoyed these from @TheCricketerMag I wish they were also done during the season Staggering quote from a chief exec calling the England management "totally disingenuous and an embarrassment" in its dealings with counties thecricketer.com/Topics/prem… thecricketer.com/Topics/prem…

If play is lost due to bad weather extend the hours on the final day They can do 104 overs on days 2 and 3 but not 4

This is from my personal account Links to donate are on the blog and on my second tweet And if anyone fancies doing their own challenge from home then that would be great (even a share of the post would be appreciated)
What do you do if you want to raise lots of money for charity but you're too ill to walk one mile, nevermind run 26 of them Well, I've come up with the Home Charity Challenge to fund research into the debilitating condition thousands like me suffer with allpainnogain.blogspot.com/2…
