It’s all good and well chucking money at this, creating beds and expanding virtual wards, Mr Sunak but you’ve still got the same amount of staff, and we’re all knackered. Perhaps try fair pay and a logical plan for the cavernous gaps in our workforce. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-6…

The 'silent pandemic' is not silent anymore.
New data, published in today’s #Lancet, show the true global cost of #AMR.
We must use these data as a warning signal to spur on action at every level.

“The NHS is nothing without its workforce”
This goes for the Science, Nursing and administrative workforce as well as the medical.
"The government needs to grasp that the NHS is nothing without its workforce. It must open its eyes and see that we are doctors who are physically and mentally fatigued, with many likely to reduce their hours or leave the NHS altogether" @CNagpaul @TheBMA bmj.com/content/376/bmj.o2

Sending out good vibes & positivity on this platform 🤗- even those who hate on me- I bet if we had a cup of coffee, we would have more in common than you’d think. We don’t have to agree on everything to have mutual respect & civility.

I can echo this. Both hubby and baby’s swab results back the same day. Simply amazing service 🙌
So lucky to have access to the @nottmhospitals covid service - #2 child's 7th swab since all this started. Thanks to everyone in the covid test teams, especially all those behind the scenes who make this service so efficient, <8hrs from swab to negative result! 👏👏
