NO!
America does not own the Moon nor will they ever do so.
There are international treaties such as The Outer Space Treaty (1967) and The Moon Agreement (1979)
The Moon Agreement explicitly states that the Moon and its resources are the "common heritage of mankind".
Planting a flag, or making a declaration no longer gives you rights to any territory.
I shall leave you with one of Donald Trump's more serious social media posts...
Anyone remotely agreeing will be ignored and if annoying, blocked. This nonsense need to end. Get voting USA
ATTENTION STARGAZERS AND LOVERS OF THE NIGHT SKY IN AND NEAR STOKE
The Night Sky Show is coming to the Regent Theatre on 13 September and we are going to have an epic evening of celestial entertainment. A show where we laugh, learn and gasp at the heavens above, brought down to Earth for everyone to enjoy.
