I wish to express my deepest condolences to our Polish friends following the deadly attack in Kraków. Hungary stands in solidarity with the Polish nation.

This is the club that Hungary’s new pro-Brussels prime minister regularly attacks in public. He wants to remove its democratically elected president and even ban him from holding office. Just like under communism, when this very same club was persecuted.
But as the club’s motto says: Always fight, never give up!

Brussels can set deadlines. The real danger begins when Hungary has a government willing to act as Brussels’ vassal.
Energy policy must follow engineering realities, not political ideology. Abandoning existing oil and gas supplies before reliable, affordable alternatives are secured is a dangerous gamble.
Get this wrong, and Hungarian families could face higher bills, our industries could lose competitiveness, and our country could become more vulnerable.
Hungary must not become Brussels’ energy experiment. And if the government allows it to happen, the responsibility will be theirs. Brussels won’t pay the price. Hungarians will.

The Soviet Red Army stormed Budapest and crushed the revolution which was supposed to re-establish Hungarian national sovereignty

On November 4th 1956, the Soviet Red Army invaded Hungary to put down the Hungarian Revolution.
During the fighting, which lasted between Nov. 4 - Nov. 9, the Soviet soldiers killed 2,500 Hungarians and wounded another 20,000.
Some 700 Red Army soldiers were killed.
Long live a free Hungary! 🇭🇺
