🙏💛 A Special Prayer Request for Kyra — Tomorrow at 7:30 AM Mountain Time 💛🙏 Many of you know that my niece, Kyra, was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was just 5 years old. Today, she is 23 and has been cancer-free for many years. She has fought battles that no child should ever have to face, and she continues to amaze us with her strength and resilience. 2026 has been an incredibly challenging year for Kyra and her family. Since April, she has undergone several surgeries and spent far too much time in the hospital. Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, October 27, at 7:30 AM Mountain Time, Kyra will undergo a brain biopsy to help determine whether her cancer has returned, spread, and/or if there is new tumor growth. As you can imagine, this is an emotional and frightening time for her family. We are praying with everything we have that this is NOT cancer.❤️ My brother and sister-in-law have a very special prayer request, and I'm hoping you'll help them honor it. They aren't just asking you to pray for Kyra. They're asking you to come together with one or two other people and pray WITH them. Matthew 18:20 (KJV) reminds us: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Tomorrow morning, if you're able, please gather with your spouse, your children, a friend, a coworker, your church family, or anyone willing to join you in prayer. Pray together. Pray for healing. Pray for answers. Pray that this biopsy reveals NO new cancer or tumor growth. And pray for whatever else God places on your heart. It doesn't matter whether you're in the same room or praying together over the phone, or any other way you choose as a group. What matters is that we come together, united in faith and love, lifting Kyra up. My hope is that tomorrow morning, at 7:30 AM Mountain Time, there will be little groups of people all across the country, perhaps even around the world, praying for this beautiful young woman who has already endured so much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving Kyra, praying for her, and walking alongside her family. If you'll be gathering with someone to pray for Kyra tomorrow, please leave a ❤️ or 🙏 in the comments. I'd love for Eric, Candi, and Kyra to see just how many people are surrounding them in prayer. Where two or three are gathered. ❤️🙏 #PrayersForKyra #FaithOverFear #PowerOfPrayer #PrayTogether #KyraStrong

I haven’t updated on my niece in about a week. We are approaching 7 months where she has been in the hospital more than she has been home. 😢 So many surgeries and unanswered reasons for the fluid on her brain not draining after having her shunt cleaned out. Please continue to pray for Kyra! She is so precious to our family! My brother just texted the following update: “Hi Everybody. We have a new mountain to climb. Kyra’s 7 month challenge may be from suspected new tumor growth. The latest MRI showed wonderful progression of her fluid and revealed that we may have other considerations for the “why” she has had this happen. She is getting an Endoscopy and Biopsy early next week. That will give us more information. We would like to ask for a specific prayer for Kyra. That this is NOT new tumor growth. The scan is showing inflammation from all of her procedures, and we can effectively treat whatever is holding her back. Please send this out to whomever you think would unite in this prayer request.”

🔦 SPOTLIGHT SATURDAY: GLORIA JEAN BARNES Today, we’re bringing attention back to a case that has remained unsolved for nearly three decades. Gloria Jean Barnes was 35 years old when she was last seen on July 11, 1997, at a pay phone in Joiner, Arkansas. Two days later, her body was found in the back parking lot of the Seven Gables Truck Stop in Springfield, Missouri. Investigators determined that Gloria had suffered severe blunt-force injuries to her head and face. Her body had been wrapped in a blue furniture mat or blanket, and she had no identification with her when she was found. Authorities were eventually able to trace her back to that last known location in Arkansas. Gloria had reportedly been traveling across the country and staying with relatives. But what happened between July 11 and July 13, 1997? Who was with her? Who picked her up? Who knew where she was headed next? Her homicide remains unsolved, and the Springfield Police Department is still asking for information. The FBI’s ViCAP program also issued a renewed alert seeking leads in her case. ❤️ Gloria was more than a cold case. She was a daughter, a friend, a person whose life mattered. She still deserves justice. If you know anything about Gloria’s final days or her death, contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1678 or FBI ViCAP at 800-634-4097. #SpotlightSaturday #GloriaJeanBarnes #UnsolvedHomicide #ColdCase #SpringfieldMissouri #JusticeForGloria #VictimAwareness #VoicesAndEvidence #TruthFactsImpact

🎙️ VOICES FRIDAY: BUKOLA LOVE ORIOLA Today, we’re highlighting a woman who turned survival into service. Bukola Love Oriola is a survivor of labor trafficking and domestic violence, an award-winning journalist, author, speaker, mentor, and advocate who has dedicated her life to helping others find safety, support, and a path forward. After surviving trafficking in the United States, Bukola chose to speak publicly about what happened to her and use her lived experience to educate communities, service providers, and law enforcement. She later founded The Enitan Story, a nonprofit whose mission is to advocate for victims and empower survivors of human trafficking. Her advocacy has reached far beyond her own story. Bukola served on the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking from 2015 to 2018, helping bring survivor voices directly into conversations about policy and how victims are supported. What stands out most about Bukola’s work is this: She doesn’t just tell people that survival is possible. She helps create what comes next. Support. Education. Mentorship. Opportunity. Hope. ❤️ A survivor’s story should never end with what was done to them. Their voice, their future, and what they choose to build afterward matter too. Today, we honor Bukola Love Oriola and the voice she continues to use for others. #VoicesFriday #BukolaLoveOriola #HumanTraffickingAwareness #SurvivorAdvocate #SurvivorVoices #TheEnitanStory #EndHumanTrafficking #VictimsRights #VoicesAndEvidence #TruthFactsImpact
