Last chance: Support walking and cycling improvements between #Wembley and #Harlesden on a road which has seen over 90 collisions since 2018.
This consultation closes on Thursday 21 December, so tell TfL you support the scheme today! haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/wembl…
Whereas all the Brent and Harrow LTNs were removed. Such a strong inner/outer London discontinuity of policy – and it doesn't correspond to political parties.
All seven of the @IslingtonBC low traffic neighbourhoods have been made permanent with further enhancements and more to come. 💚

Who should we prioritise on our streets?
The school run before the Streatham Wells LTN // The school run after the Streatham Wells LTN.
We know which we prefer ❤️
It's still very early days, but already children are able to travel through our neighbourhood more safely

London's network of Cycleways continues to grow.
Great seeing construction progressing on York Way between Kings Cross & Camden Rd.
This introduces new raised stepped cycle tracks in both directions as well as other improvements.

I’m spending very little time on X now. I wonder where other people who followed my tweets have gone primarily – is it to Dorsey’s new one, or the one named after an extinct mammal, or the Zuckerberg one?
PCPs are another sub-prime mortgage crisis in the making – a legal pyramid scheme.
Ever wonder how so many people can afford so many big expensive cars?
Personal Contract Purchases - 90% of all new car purchases in UK now use PCPs
Smells like a potential financial crisis in the making.

I see that Tweetdeck has been replaced. Now called XPro, costs £100/year. No thanks Elon. I used this a lot to keep up with various society accounts I run. I am now essentially leaving Twitter/X. I have accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads and YouTube; see some of you there.

So - what are Westminster Council's plans for #OxfordStreet? 👀
Will they transform walking, wheeling & cycling on the 'nation's high street'?

This is a studio recording of my Romance for Violin and Cello (Op. 15) – an old work (1997) that I revised for a concert in last year's year's Harrow Summer Music Festival. I've made it into a video using still photos taken at the recording studio. youtu.be/AonXWRAEo0M

A friend is not too happy being offered £2K to upgrade his diesel car. Says he would prefer to use the cash towards a new cycle and scrap the car. But hey ho, you can’t turn down that much free money! – at Poplar, London
CPZs in my experience are the first step in converting a car-sodden urban area into one on the journey to predominantly greener and more active travel modes. After CPZs usually come lower speed limits, then bike lanes & tracks, then ped improvements, pedestrianisations and LTNs.
kind of getting into CPZs (controlled parking zones). these before and after pics from Southwark are pretty striking southwark.gov.uk/parking/par…
An update on this, as someone just re-tweeted this post from 2017: despite good progress elsewhere in the borough (e.g. Haverstock Hill), the Delancey-Pratt link is still missing, and trying to connect from CW6 to the Primrose Hill LCN route is still nasty, or very indirect.
This is a video of one of my contributions to a London Composers Forum concert held at the 1901 Arts Club earlier this year, where I performed a sub-cycle of six of my Preludes. It is a very nice venue with a nice piano.youtu.be/ng241OcFFT0
