I really don't. Fun is great. More people should be able to have it! I live in #Soho because I also like having fun.
you hate Londoners having fun, so do they! so it fits.

Westminster Council had a plan to transform Oxford Street that had cross-party support. Sadiq Khan's power-grab has meant that millions of pounds of public money has been wasted on needlessly tearing those plans up to start again.

Struggling to understand any of @MayorofLondon's flustered, incoherent justifications for pedestrianising Oxford Street, on @BBCr4today. Apparently people who can't walk very far have to understand that "change isn't easy for everyone". So tough shit, pensioners!

“It’s going to be devastating” 🚕 A London black cab driver fears the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street could push traffic onto surrounding roads and make it harder for cabbies to earn a living. But those behind the plans say their traffic modelling suggests this won't happen and that traffic will be monitored. What do you think of the changes to Oxford Street? #OxfordStreet #London #BlackCabs #Pedestrianisation

Also, the notion that Oxford Street was 'dominated by traffic' is just not true. Lately it's been dominated by vape shops, tatty tourist stalls, pickpockets, fraudsters, so-called American candy shops and other money-laundering outlets, and those hideous rip-off Tuk-Tuk things covered in garish lights playing loud music. If @MayorofLondon wanted to revitalise Oxford Street, he should have made it a bus and black cab-only zone and clamped down on those monstrosities.
The whole of central London is in gridlock thanks to this

Nuts, isn't it!
Perhaps my favourite new insane conspiracy theory is that @DanielJHannan is a crypto-Muslim who is banning alcohol from @iealondon and purging the staff of anyone who likes a drink.

The status quo on Oxford Street can't continue - if the street must be pedestrianised, it should be done properly - not the way the Mayor is pursuing, says @ThomasFTurrell

Oxford Street a complete mess. Looks like Eastern Europe before the Wall fell. No access for disabled people & I might be able to walk from the circus to Selfridges , but many people can’t. Another Disgrace from our useless Mayor.

Having ridden some buses this morning, there very much has been "a material change to journey time". My 390 bus ride this morning took 14 minutes longer than pre-pedestrianisation. #oxfordstreet

A mocking CCHQ comment on turnout at today’s Reform presser: “It must be cringingly embarrassing for Farage and Jenrick to be forced to address a half-empty room. At her pre-Budget press conference, Kemi Badenoch addressed a room of over 300 passionate activists. Reform have already stolen numerous policies that the Conservatives have previously announced for their 'rescue plan'. Now it looks as if they need to steal some of our activists to fill a room."

The idea that he thinks this means “more space less traffic” is so moronic it is laughable. If you put more traffic into less space you get more congestion, which is exactly what has happened! He hasn’t got a clue.

#Raye really is amazing. The range of styles she can manage is incredible. Love pretty much all of both albums and picked her for my song choices on @sohoradio @sohosocietyw1 earlier this year. Have a listen... this is the more #jazz end of the spectrum. The soul stuff is even better to my ears! @raye @BBCiPlayer bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0…

🚨 Pedestrianised streets attract pickpockets and phone thieves, warns @voteTimBarnes. Yet the police say there are no significant extra officers for Oxford Street. #WestminsterMatters #Westminster #CityThatWorksForAll #SafeStreets

🚌 From Monday 26 October, buses, taxis and cyclists are banned from Oxford Street. Westminster said no. The Mayor set up his own corporation, and it said yes. @voteTimBarnes: "It's anti-democratic." #TwoCities #OxfordStreet

Quite so
He was nearly the leader of my party. I backed the other one! Now he’s chatting to an empty hall. It’s a shame as he has charisma and presence but rampant blinkered personal ambition sadly got the better of him. I’m sure “Reform” will spin this as a successful day out though!

How to kill London’s retail and hospitality sectors: a masterclass by @MayorofLondon & @TfL. Closing Europe’s busiest shopping street at the worst possible time of year.
