Rotherham Minster Church of All Saints, South Yorkshire, discovered decaying masonry, which threatened the Great West Window. With Walker Cunnington Architects, they restored the stonework, which conserved the window and reduced the building’s carbon footprint.

Researching for a project at St James, Doncaster (1858) came across #StJamesBoston (c.1864 demolished 1972) - in photo - which is remarkably similar architecturally. There is a connection with EB Denison (Lord Grimthorpe) but does anyone have any other photos? @thevicsoc
Good luck @paul_bonomini and everyone involved with this. Looks as if it will be an amazing installation and another great use of this exciting space. @RailwayHeritage

Another great exhibition beginning on Thursday @OPOArtspace in this amazing former excursion station building. Wonderful #Victorian legacy from "When the Railway Came to Town". Whet your appetite with this interview by @bekbythesea from 20mins 30secs in on last night's show
Hear the chat I had with Adrian Spawforth earlier on @bbcyork on @BBCSounds after the show finishes tonight
Yes, great job @old_scarborough. Here's a recent photo for comparison. Most of the alterations took place in c.1924 and the b+w photo dates from c.1904 when the building was the excursion station for day trippers to Scarborough. @OldScarborough @RailwayHeritage
Look at what the amazing Chris Jones @old_scarborough has managed to do with a poor copy of the only old photo we have of the Old Parcels Office.

8th - 18th Sept we’re celebrating the history of the OPO as an Excursion Station. ‘When The Railway Came To Town’ will chart the growth of Scarborough as seaside resort from 1845 through enlarged historical maps, postcards, memorabilia and contemporary art.
Scarborough Station was swingin' at the end of last month when The Jake Leg Jug Band led celebrations for the 175th anniversary of the Hull to Scarborough railway 🎼 And check out those customised tickets! 🎟️ Photos by Nick Harvey @YorksCoastlines @northernassist @TPExpressTrains

Great to meet yesterday and have the opportunity to show you round this exciting transformation project. Glad you liked what you saw and looking forward to seeing the building in use again soon. Thanks @RailwayHeritage, @ace_national and @ScarboroCouncil
Had some unexpected assistance on an inspection at Holy Trinity, Bilsby yesterday! @LoveLincsWolds @HistPlacesLincs @LincsChurches @explincolnshire
Excited that works will soon begin to rescue this unassuming little building in @WincobankHill for community use thanks to a grant from @veoliaenvtrust - it's the old school house next to @WincobankChapel - important for its associations with Mary Anne Rawson of Wincobank Hall
