According to The Independent, Marco Rubio may be considering abandoning the Trump admin after Republicans’ disastrous midterm losses.
He reportedly wants to distance himself from Trump’s Iran war and position himself for a 2028 presidential run against JD Vance.
Here’s the irony: Rubio may want to escape Trump’s political baggage after spending years helping carry it.
You can jump off a sinking ship. That doesn’t mean you weren’t part of the crew that steered it into the iceberg.
Never thought I’d say this, but DeSantis has been one of the actual sensible voices coming out of the GOP since just before and now after the midterms.
He fell flat on his face when up against Trump in 2024 but it wouldn’t shock me if he runs again in 2028 or 2032.
🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"

I am SO thankful Florida held the line. We avoided some of the MOST horrendous US House wipeouts (still losing some) and our statewide remained red. The legislature is still red
2028 is our only next chance to make a dent in this.
Now just watch the Canada USA trade deal come to fruition within a matter of days.
