More young people are finding it harder to belong in classrooms - but if initiatives like @ScranAcademy which refuse to accept "certain young people are destined to fail" are to make a tangible difference they need "long-term funding" says @Will_Scran

📣 Our MSYPs have now finished their #CabinetTakeover with the First Minister and his Cabinet - we look forward to seeing progress on the issues raised over the next year!
🗨️ Here's what @ScotGovFM @HumzaYousaf said:
ALT Image of Humza Yousaf MSYP with text on right that reads: '“We want Scotland to be the best place for children to grow up. The Children’s Parliament and the Scottish Youth Parliament ensure our children and young people are empowered to confidently express their views and have a real influence on the issues that matter most to them. Today’s Cabinet meeting is a great opportunity to further engage with our children and young people at a national level, ensuring they can have their say and be at the heart of decisions which affect them.” Humza Yousaf MSP, First Minister'.
