Healthcare facilities demand more than standard engineering, they require specialized expertise and an understanding of the critical role infrastructure plays in patient care and outcomes. The WNA Engineering team brings extensive experience across all types of healthcare environments, from major hospital systems to outpatient centers, clinics, laboratories and specialty care facilities. We understand that every system we design directly impacts the environment, from maintaining optimal air quality and temperature control to ensuring uninterrupted power for life-saving equipment. Healthcare projects come with unique challenges, including regulatory requirements, infection control protocols, complex phasing to keep facilities operational, and the need for systems that are both reliable and adaptable for future medical technologies. Our engineers don’t just meet these requirements, they anticipate them. When you’re designing spaces where lives are impacted, there’s no room for error. That’s why healthcare clients trust us to deliver engineering solutions that support their mission of exceptional patient care. #HealthcareEngineering #MEPEngineering #MEPDesign

3D Laser Scanning is a critical starting point for commercial projects. This service delivers: ✅ Enhanced Accuracy - Capture precise measurements of existing conditions to minimize errors ✅ Comprehensive Documentation - Gain complete situational awareness of complex environments ✅ Reduced Rework - Prevent costly changes by identifying potential conflicts before construction ✅ Accelerated Timelines - Streamline the design process with reliable existing conditions data ✅ Cost Efficiency - Save on labor hours and material waste through precision planning Our scanning services support a wide range of projects, from historic renovations to industrial retrofits, creating the essential starting point that ensures your project's success from day one. Curious about the process? The team captures ‘point clouds” of existing spaces, which are comprehensive digital measurements of the entire environment, a process that is much faster and more accurate than traditional manual measurements. These point clouds are then converted into digital models that can be viewed as interactive 3D spaces for virtual walkthroughs, or 3D as-built drawings. What makes our approach more powerful is the integration of drone technology. While laser scanning defines the shape and dimensions of a space, our drone delivers visual imagery, LiDAR, and thermal mapping simultaneously in one integrated process. By combining these various data sources, we create models that show both physical structure and thermal performance, all in one view. This allows us to identify potential deficiencies in the building envelope, including excessive heat loss, roof leaks, moisture risks, structural damage, and other issues that may not be visible to the naked eye. The result? Our engineers and collaborating architects receive highly accurate existing conditions documents that reveal not just what’s there, but how it’s performing. This creates a more streamlined, efficient, and informed design process. Visit wnaengineering.com/building-… to explore and learn how our 3D laser scanning expertise can enhance your next project's design accuracy and execution. #3DLaserScanning #3DLaserScanningServices #ThermalMapping #InfraredSurvey #EngineeringServices

Creating a successful restaurant requires more than great food. It demands engineering that balances ambiance, safety, and operational efficiency. The WNA team understands the unique complexities of restaurant design. This highly regulated industry requires strict adherence to safety codes, hygiene standards, and accessibility requirements. But this is just the foundation. The true challenge is designing systems that enhance the dining experience while supporting the back of house operations. HVAC systems must maintain precise temperature control and air circulation, keeping dining areas comfortable while managing heat and odors from kitchens. Proper ventilation is critical for food safety, and the comfort of staff and diners. Lighting plays a big role too, setting the mood and influencing the dining experience. The right lighting design supports the restaurant’s brand and atmosphere, be it intimate fine dining or an energetic casual concept. Electrical systems need to power everything from kitchen equipment to point-of-sale systems, with backup plans for the unexpected. Plumbing must handle high-volume demands while meeting stringent health codes. We’ve partnered with restaurant operators and hospitality groups to create spaces where engineering works quietly in the background, allowing exceptional food, service, and atmosphere to take center stage. #RestaurantEngineering #HospitalityDesign #HospitalityIndustry #MEPEngineering #MEPDesign
