One of my favorite articles I've written this year covering the RunBudz event and interviewing Natisha Hiedeman. With the increased popularity of the #WNBA we've seen a lot of frustrating outside noise lately. This is a reminder of the good we can have. stormchasersbasketball.com/p…

There will definitively be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valkyries, Dream and Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.
"There are problems with all the solutions," one source close to the situation said.

The #WNBAFinals are all tied up after the Golden State Valkyries use excellent defense to defeat the Atlanta Dream 67-62. The Valkyries reclaim home court advantage with the series tied 2-2. It now becomes a Best of 3. Game 5 is back in Ballhalla! Gabby Williams led with 17 pts.
Game 3 belongs to the Dream. Atlanta's offense goes off in the 2nd half and outscored the Golden State Valkyries 51-31 to win the game 97-71. Angel Reese led the way again with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Rhyne Howard had 16 points and 5 steals. Dream lead 2-1. #WNBAFinals #WNBA

Angel Reese becomes the youngest player to record 30 points and 15 rebounds in a WNBA postseason game. Reese joins Jonquel Jones, Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker, Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson as the only players to achieve this milestone.
And with that, we have a series! The Atlanta Dream take Game 2 of the #WNBA Finals 79-65 to defeat the Golden State Valkyries and tie the series 1-1. Angel Reese had an incredible performance with 30 points and 16 rebounds. Gabby Williams led GSV with 14 points but on 3-15 FG.

Coach Natalie:
Final: The Golden State Valkyries win Game 1 by a final score of 68-64. An intense defensive battle between the two teams. The Atlanta Dream led for most of the game, but couldn’t score in the final moments with the game on the line. Gabby Williams led with 26 points. #WNBA
I didn't get around to writing a #WNBAFinals preview before the Finals tip off. I am excited for this matchup. I'm thrilled that the #WNBA will crown a brand new first-time champion this season. The parity is great for the league. I hope it's competitive. Prediction: GSV in 6.
I think #WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert's legacy will be much greater than the general thoughts of her during her time in the league. The growth this league has seen since she took over is greater than anything we've seen in the league's 30 years. So much goes unnoticed.

During the 2018 WNBA playoffs, Sue Bird put together one of the most memorable fourth-quarter performances in postseason history, scoring 14 points in the final six minutes to help Seattle overcome a fourth-quarter deficit and defeat Phoenix 94-84 in a win-or-go-home Game 5 of the semifinals.
Bird would go on to win the third of her four WNBA championships. 🌩️🪄

Valkyries fans will remember this play for a long time.
Really impressive how Gabby Williams remains so disciplined with her defensive footwork and swipe technique in that very moment (game clock and situation). The timing and angle were perfect 🤌🏽

I had my sons watching this game with me. Her pace changed the game in the 2nd half. Make or miss she put pressure on the defense EVERY time down. High level hoop game 🏁

Jordin Canada became the third player in WNBA history to record at least 11 assists with zero turnovers in a playoff series clinching game. Canada joins Cynthia Cooper and Diana Taurasi as the only players to achieve this milestone.
