Mmmmmmm.....breakfast for the silver-haired bat. How do we know what type of bat it is? It's dark brown/black hairs are tipped with silver giving it an icy appearance.#silverhairedbat#bat#wildlifehospital#rescue
Laura is out for a walk on the wild side with Cloud, a red tailed hawk, a resident here at the Center. You can stop by and visit Cloud and other education birds 7 days a week here at the Center located on Munn's County Park. Peek inside at our gift shop while you are here!
Bathed birds are encouraged to preen their feathers, aligning & distributing oil. If not the feathers remain wet, exposing them to chills and illness.
Please assist us in purchasing a dryer. Goal: $385. Will you make a small $5 gift today? wildliferescuecenter.org
