I don't do this often, but I'm going to ask my followers to follow @Matt_Calkins in support of his integrity at the expense of a paycheck. If you can, subscribe to his Substack too. Let's give him a good launch into independence. teapawt.org/Matt_Calkins/status/20…
After 11 years as a sports columnist at the Seattle Times, I have decided to resign. It was entirely my choice, and it was not an easy one. The impetus was the Times declining to run a column I wrote from the perspective of two female student athletes who were opposed to competing against biological males. It was one of several pieces of mine that had been spiked, and I no longer felt like I could properly do my job as a columnist. I lay out the situation in greater detail in the link below, but I want to say that I enjoyed my time with the paper, find the talent there to be immense, and have no animosity toward anyone who works there. It was just time for a change. mattycee.substack.com/p/i-wa…

Take 7-minutes of your day to learn about how Flock cameras work and how easily your civil rights can be violated with them. This is the best local news story I've seen in a LONG time. youtube.com/watch?v=wtUkCvF3…

Awwwwww, so the government is now confirming what I brought to light right after the 2020 election. And I was indicted because Jocelyn Benson, Dana Nessel, the Michigan media, Ed McBroom, and Lana Theis wanted to cover up that the Michigan State Police had confirmed a Democrat firm fraudulently registered and cheated in the election. Then the Biden admin slow-walked the case until the statute of limitations ran. The documents show industrial scale manipulation in Michigan. depernolaw.com/all-expert-re…

Very odd that less than 12-hours ago, the FAA closed down Class B airspace and the DoW reportedly shot down a 'cartel drone' that crossed into US airspace from MX and it's not a bigger story. Feels like it should be a GIGANTIC story.

In Georgia, a 26 year old illegal alien with no prior record raped an 11 year old girl at knife point. The illegal alien came here during the Biden Administration. It is why we must deport more than those convicted of crimes. This guy had no prior record.

Any resolution to the Minnesota situation that does not include mass arrests of the leftist agitators and mass deportations of the illegals will be a total failure for the Trump Administration and only guarantee more and worse chaos in the future

On Wednesday afternoon 25-year-old Caitlin Stup was on her way to work at Sweetgreen in Houston when Brayden Smith boarded the bus and spotted gang rival Patrick Scott. Smith was out on probation for attempting to commit aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Scott was out on reduced bond for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. They began shooting at each other (with guns they're not legally allowed to have). They missed each other entirely and instead shot Caitlin in the head—killing her. Smith has been charged with the murder, but Scott faces only a misdemeanor charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon. And not a single major media outlet has covered this story.

This appears to be the ICE officer’s video feed from Minneapolis. She drove right at him.

There have been more than 100 vehicular ramming incidents targeting ICE and CPB agents in the last year. More than 100. For example, in October in Chicago, an ICE officer was hit by a car and dragged under the vehicle, sustaining serious injuries. And just last month in St. Paul, two ICE agents were hit by a vehicle during an arrest. So sure, go ahead and try to claim this officer should have been able to guess what was in a radical’s head as she accelerated her 2 ton SUV directly at him. But try to remember, these officers know that they are targets, and that Democrats are ginning up as much agitation against them as they can from violent erratic protestors. Every day, they go to work, knowing there are targets on their backs. Especially from vehicular ramming. But sure, Monday morning quarterback the guy who was struck (and who, but for lack of tire traction on an icy street, might not be here today).

One more time -- once she directed her vehicle in the direction of the officer in front of her, that was "assault on a law enforcement officer with a deadly or dangerous instrument." It does not matter if she hit him or he evaded her. That fact -- without more -- made her at threat to the safety of the community if she was able to drive away. If she'll run over and officer in marked clothing giving her a lawful order to stop her vehicle, then the law presumes she will run over a citizen too if necessary. Use of deadly force is authorized to neutralized a threat to the community, i.e., preventing her from driving away. You may not like the law, but that is the state of the law. It has developed over dozens of cases all with multiple factual barriers. Pointing her car at the officer and starting forward was no different legally from pointing a gun at him and firing. The fact that the shooter misses is irrelevant.
