Clancy has been here 146 days. Lovely mature dog. Easy on the lead. Doesn’t require a lot of fuss. Loves his walks.

It's @christian_aid week! As many roads in Wallasey no longer have door-to-door collections because of a shortage of collectors, you will find Christian Aid envelopes in our pews for the remainder of May. Please, do give generously: the need is greater now than ever. Thank you
The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is: BODY IMAGE.
These young people want us all to be happy in the skin we’re in. Watch this video created by Wirral’s youngsters especially for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek 2019👇

Strictly star Shirley was at Wallasey Village Library today!
Huge thanks to the fabulous (and local) @ShirleyBallas for opening our Floral Trail in Wallasey Village today. Fantastic turnout and afterwards hosted by @WVLfriends We needn't have worried about the weather - the sun came out as the ribbon was cut! 😎
Botany has a secret feminist past...one for our bloomers? @WVinBloom
A secret #feminist #history and the re-discovery of a book of illustrated plant life by #Wollstonecraft’s sister-in-law, “is a testament to women’s robust history of forging their own paths in the arts and sciences, formal training be damned”. #botany

Dear councils, many roundabouts could be biodiversity-boosting wildflower havens rather than just closely-mown grass, and still be safe for traffic! Pic via @MeadowInGarden
The Friends really enjoyed hosting @ShirleyBallas at Wallasey Village Library today when the @bbcstrictly star officially launched the Wallasey Village in Bloom floral trail. All credit to @WVinBloom for their continued hard work.
