Eh, surely I've just read the scoreline wrong? They're losing 2-0? But they've taken 7000 fans, how's it possible? No quarter final for Newcastle despite fielding their strongest possible team, Sunderland in the quarters taking the piss and fielding reserves.

The fact they've made 8 changes and still look this strong shows how bad our transfer window was. We have 0 depth. We're starting Alan Browne who played 11 minutes against hull and that was his only competitive minutes in a Sunderland shirt since April 2025 馃拃

"This aged well" not once did I say we'd get beat. Simply pointed out how strong they looked . Stand by that, their lineup was strong, their players they have at their disposal for rotation are better than ours and their depth is deeper. That's fact, winning doesn't change that.

Thought O'Nien was brilliant again when he came on, continuing how he played at the weekend. For Browne to have so little football and put in a solid performance like that, fair fucks. Good performance, great result, onto the quarters.

Well I wasn't expecting that. I think we've been excellent. Some really good performers out there tonight most notably Ta Bi and Ellborg. We need to stick at it and not get complacent because they look strong going forward

Thought that was a much improved performance personally. Angulo was excellent, O'Nien was very good too. We just don't look like we have a goal in us.

Left hand side has been effective tonight. Really liked the performance from Dayann Methalie and Fofana his best performance yet. Problem again tonight is the final finish that鈥檚 really holding us back. Creating chances but just massively struggling to convert them #SAFC
