Every year, during the air show on Labour Day weekend, drivers decide they can park on the grass in the waterfront parks and use the Martin Goodman Trail as a road. Despite complaints from Walk Toronto and locals, the City has not stopped this. Video from this year. #walkTO

Walk Toronto was an early advocate for the accessible ramp tonthe Lower Don trail at the Riverdale pedestrian bridge. Great to see it almost completed. The lookout spot is a nice touch.

The very long awaited accessible ramp from the Riverdale pedestrian bridge to the Don Valley trail is finally under construction! Walk Toronto has been advocating for it for a decade or more.

Last night ( a Friday) - Bloor West sidewalk in Yorkville almost completely cut off by construction. Pedestrians forced onto narrow dangerous edge strip. No safe detour set up. #WalkTO

Good news - the City is proposing to require truck sideguards for both City trucks and trucks contracted by the City. Truck sideguards improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians by protecting them from getting dragged under the truck. #WalkTO secure.toronto.ca/council/ag…
