Just under four months after a surgery that was expected to keep him out "probably 4-6 months", Jarvis could make his season debut tomorrow night in Edmonton.
He led Carolina in goals in both of the last two seasons.
He's baaaaaaack 👀
The #Canes have activated forward Seth Jarvis from the injured non-roster list.
We've also recalled forward Skyler Brind'Amour from the @Chicago_Wolves and assigned forward Bradly Nadeau to Chicago.

Seth Jarvis says he has no nerves about getting back into a game, whenever that time comes.
"I know how much work I put into my shoulder and, in general, getting ready to play... Now that I'm close, I just couldn't be more excited."

Rod Brind'Amour wouldn't say that Seth Jarvis will play tomorrow, but he didn't say that he wouldn't either.
"It's getting closer. We're trying to get him every [rep], like power-play time and stuff that he hasn't really been doing, in hopes that we get told he's good to go."
It's a rare post-win practice day for the #Canes in Edmonton, and there are a few important updates to share.
First, Seth Jarvis is a full participant and is working as part of a line with Jordan Martinook and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. He said he wanted to get in another skate before making his season debut, and this certainly looks like it could be that.
We'll see what Rod Brind'Amour says following the skate.
Jarvis' impending return has caused a few other changes among the forwards, notably with Martinook moving back to the wing and Felix Unger Sörum to the middle.
Bradly Nadeau is not skating.

After having their seven-game win streak snapped on Sunday, the #Canes bounced back tonight.
“I thought we were good the whole night," Rod Brind'Amour reviewed. "Overall, I thought we pretty much had control of what we wanted to do, and we got rewarded for it at the end.”
A nice showing for Juuso Välimäki in his #Canes debut! 👏
(And an accurate reflection of just how good the Ehlers-Stankoven-Blake trio was.)
Players and coaches alike were pumped for Nic Deslauriers tonight.
It was a great reminder of how special this group of guys is.
"Seeing it for a guy like him, who is always in a great mood and works hard, is incredible," Nikolaj Ehlers said.
