Nvidia could deliver only around 1% of a massive $70 billion GPU order from Chinese tech giants, according to a Bloomberg report.
ByteDance, Alibaba, Tencent and other companies have reportedly ordered around 6 million RTX Pro 5500 GPUs, but may receive only tens of thousands over the next four months.
The cards cost over $11,000 each and are being used for AI workloads. The problem is that Nvidia’s production can’t keep up with demand.
You can say goodbye to buy a “cheap” gpu soon

They cut this entire civilian dynamic just so Steve Rogers could make out with his dead girlfriend’s niece in a parking garage four years later. Unbelievable writing choices

If it weren't for Sony and Microsoft contracts to make them APUs for their gaming consoles AMD might not have been here to say that they're data center first company.

While co-writer Damon Lindelof publicly apologized on Twitter for the gratuitous nature of this five-second shot, Alice Eve herself has fiercely defended the sequence and repeatedly stated she is incredibly proud of it
When Star Trek Into Darkness debuted, audiences heavily criticized the scene where Dr. Carol Marcus strips down to her dark lingerie
While the writing and directing team copped to the fact that the moment was clumsily executed purely for titillation, Alice Eve pushed back against the exploitation narrative
She clarified that she voluntarily spent months working intensely with a personal trainer to get in peak physical shape for the scene
Rather than feeling objectified, she felt completely prepared, thoroughly enjoyed filming it, and remains confused by the continuous fan controversy surrounding it more than a decade later.

The crazy thing is they're not just threatening consumers who don't accept AI into every aspect of their lives. Now they're also threatening Elementary school children and their parents if this technology isn't mandatory in public schools
What a wonderful company I work for
Google is now threatening America's schools, saying they will turn off their core search functions if schools choose to entirely block AI.

Let me get this straight…
Sam Altman founded OpenAI as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. “To benefit humanity.”
Then he raised billions of dollars.
Then he closed the source code.
Then he converted to for-profit.
Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone.
Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models.
Now he’s saying “bad things need to happen for AI to move forward.”
He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he’s unleashing consequences from the technology that NO ONE asked for.
Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they’re not even hiding it anymore…
Just because you can upload 10 terabytes of poorly optimized ai generated models doesn't mean you should upload 10 terabytes of poorly optimized ai generated models
As a reminder we have had an AI spam clause in our quality guidelines for over two years: itch.io/docs/creators/qualit…
