Avoid walking or driving through flood waters! Move immediately to higher ground! There are 848,960 people in the warning along with 255 schools and 13 hospitals.

ATTENTION I-95 NORTH/Rt. 146 NORTH TRAVELERS: Motorists traveling North on I-95 should stay in the LEFT lanes. Those traveling to Rt. 146 North should stay in the CENTER lane to access new bridge ramp. Only state offices exit traffic should be in the RIGHT lane. More signage will be placed tonight for clarification, and both lanes to access the new bridge to Rt. 146 North will be opened at 5:00 a.m. on Monday morning, May 15. Learn more: bit.ly/3Bs3iEy

RIDOT maintenance crews are working to clear clogged drains on state roads at Thurbers Avenue and the 6-10 Connector. Heavy rains created a capacity issue.

This is Rt 95 by the Thurbers Ave curve. Completely flooded, traffic is not moving on either side. State police are checking on multiple cars that are stuck and walking folks away from their trapped vehicles. @wpri12

Additional resources arriving as crews continue to free an occupant of a rolled over tractor trailer truck in Warwick. The windshield has been removed but it appears the person is still trapped. Been working for about 4mins now. Ramp has been cleared of traffic and is closed.

A car crash has caused heavy traffic on Interstate 95 north and south in East Greenwich in the area of the Route 4 split. Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
