You don’t want to hear this but being patient and finding the right trade-UFA-or draft pick that can fill that void is what is necessary at this time. 1C and/or 1D do not grow on trees. A little luck plays a part in it too. Compiling assets for that one opportunity will matter

Kapanen is NOT Suzuki, but he excelled with good linemates last season...and has some chemistry with Slaf. Maybe he finds chemistry with Caufield. Chemistry is something you cannot predict.

Nick Suzuki ranks 6th in TOI/GP among all forwards this season. Don’t expect Oliver Kapanen to take up all those minutes. It’ll be by committee. Wouldn’t surprise me if Danault is a big part of that. #GoHabsGo
