News on the Roleplay-PvP front!

It's mostly due to corporate bloat and the massive chain of command that decisions have to go through reducing risk every step of the way.
The best games keep coming from smaller studios with smaller teams; Clair Obscur, Hollow Knight, even Balatro or Megabonk.
You have to take big risks for big rewards and most AAA studios are risk averse.

“You basically kill the game”
More than ever we’re surrounded by WoW larpers that don’t play or have never played the game before Forever got announced.
I’m pretty sure most of the accounts and replies are just AI bots.
Theres nothing wrong with being new to the game of course, it’s awesome that people are new! It’s not awesome that there are new people that hate on people and act like elitists against others and pretend to understand the culture of the game and just want to attack people for it when it’s super clear they don’t even play.
Seems relevant again tbh

A real controversial gaming opinion:
most people use video games as escapism from real life and thus every games community is "toxic" as the most hardcore players tend to have outside problems that leak into their interpersonal connections with other players
The sheer amount of people who can’t tell this account is a complete parody actually freaks me out.
Mmo players can’t see through basic social cues, sarcasm, or parody.
Not beating the anti social allegations
Blame AI
Youtube is mass banning faceless channels to a massive degree with hardly any chance of receiving a human review
Furthermore, AI slop is so easy to make that faceless channels are losing trust and right now authenticity is one of strongest currencies on the platform.
