Last night, we had a conversation every SMM intern needs to have.
Our Space, "SMM Interns: How Do You Build a Project's Brand Without Neglecting Yours?", brought together different perspectives on a challenge many people in the space face.
You're helping a project grow, creating content, managing its presence, engaging its community and keeping its brand visible.
But somewhere in all that work, what happens to YOUR brand?
Here are some key takeaways from our conversation:
1. Don't lose yourself while building someone else's brand.
Working on a project's visibility shouldn't mean becoming invisible yourself. Your personal growth deserves attention too.
2. The 70:20:10 rule.
One point from @legeOfficial that particularly stood out was his 70:20:10 framework.
His emphasis was that 70% of your effort should go into building your personal brand.
It's a reminder that while contributing to a project's growth, you must also be intentional about building your own identity and visibility.
3. Be intentional about your personal brand.
Don't just show up to post for a project. Share your knowledge, document your experiences and let people understand what you bring to the table.
4. Learn to manage your time and priorities.
Balancing project responsibilities with personal growth requires discipline, planning and consistency.
5. Let your work speak, but make sure people can see it.
The experience you're gaining as an SMM intern is valuable. Document your progress, showcase your contributions and build a portfolio around your work.
One thing stood out to me: You can contribute to building a project into a recognised brand while still building a name for yourself.
You don't have to choose one over the other.
SPECIAL APPRECIATION 💜

Now, let's hear from you: Are you building your personal brand while building someone else's, or have you put yours on hold?

Nothing serious. I just wanted to put a smile on her face.
But it got me thinking about something: sending someone money should be simple, and receiving it shouldn't feel like an assignment.
Especially when crypto is involved.
That's one problem GiftBox is making interesting. 🎁
Let me show you in.

To my fellow SMMs:
Your personal brand shouldn't be the price you pay for building someone else's.
Be intentional about both.
Because you're not just an SMM. You're building a brand too💜

This year, we’ve seen a rise in video content creators and a noticeable drop in thread writers.
It just shows how creators are becoming more flexible.
As they step out of their writing comfort zones & explore new ways to express their creativity.
Especially in front of a camera.

"It can't happen to me."
I've always found that to be one of the most dangerous things anyone can say about online security.
Not because everyone is careless.
But because sometimes, confidence makes us stop questioning things.
You know that feeling when you've been online for so long that certain things become automatic?
You click.
You read.
You interact.
You trust what looks familiar.
Until one day, something doesn't add up.
And by then, the damage may already be done.
The digital world is changing, and AI is making that change happen even faster.
We're seeing technology become more capable every day, but there's another side to that progress.
The same technology that creates new possibilities can also be misused to deceive people.
This means being digitally aware is no longer something we should treat as optional.
I recently came across something that made me want to examine my own understanding of AI safety.
The MEXC AI Safety Score Quiz.
I decided to give it a shot.
Just six questions, but enough to get me thinking about how I approach safety in an increasingly AI-driven world.
After completing it, I received my personalised result card.
And honestly, I think more people should take this challenge.
Not for the sake of collecting scores, but because recognising what we know and what we might be overlooking is a good place to start.
MEXC is putting user security in the spotlight, and I think this is a conversation worth spreading.
So here's my challenge:
Take the quiz.
Answer all six questions.
Get your AI Safety Score.
Then share your result with the community.
Let's move beyond saying we're security-conscious.
Let's put that confidence to the test.
@MEXC
Take the quiz here: ai-safety-score.apcollective…
I'll be checking the replies.
Let's see those scores👀💜
