I built Zollect for @zksnarks_ zecathon: collectibles you actually own on Zcash. Own it on Zcash. Prove it anywhere. Zcash has no NFTs or tokens. So today, a “Zcash collectible” is a row in a marketplace’s database. You hold nothing on the chain and can’t prove it’s yours without them. Zollect puts the item itself on the chain. Each collectible is a zote: a private Zcash note in a vault only your key controls. No company keeps the list. What works today, live on Zcash mainnet: 🔑 Real ownership Lagos Lights is a collection of 3 zotes, minted and sealed so no more can ever be made. 🤝 Safe sales Tobi sold zote #2 to Kemi in one shielded transaction: the zote to her, the ZEC to him, or nothing. Neither could cheat. On the explorer it’s just a shielded transaction: no names, no amounts. ✅ Proof on demand Send Kemi a fresh code. Her vault signs it with the zote’s key. Anyone can check it’s genuine and still hers, and they learn nothing else she holds. No protocol change needed. It works on Zcash today, and the checker is open source.
