For my #FatRatMemes contest entry, I chose an educational comic-style video to make the FATRAT story simple, engaging, and fun to understand. I wanted to do more than just create a meme. By mixing humor, storytelling, and simple visuals, I aimed to explain the treasury concept and community ecosystem in a way anyone can follow without needing to be a crypto expert. Transparency is a big part of the design This is one of the things I find particularly interesting about the setup. You can check the treasury information without having to connect your wallet just to look around. No unnecessary wallet connection. No transaction approval. No signing something just to view information. The website uses read-only blockchain data, allowing users to inspect the relevant treasury information themselves. And as always in crypto, you should still verify information directly on-chain rather than blindly trusting anyone.

And this is where the rewards come in One of the biggest parts of the FatRat model is the SOL reward system. Eligible $FRT holders can receive SOL rewards distributed pro rata. Basically, your share of the eligible $FRT holdings determines your share of the rewards. That gives holding an actual role in the ecosystem. Instead of the only reason to hold being “maybe the price goes up,” FatRat introduces another incentive: You hold $FRT → the mechanism generates rewards → eligible holders receive SOL. Simple enough.
