Not new info. The police informed Miller of the incident.
The father was not informed as there is an active restraining order against him and no formal custody hearing had taken place to determine whether he was allowed to be with the children.
#BREAKING | NEW INFORMATION coming to light about the Florida mom.
#IreneMiller ignored her hospitalized son and refused to fly home from her Vegas trip, cops reveal.
For those of you defending her and agreeing with her on the fact that she left her children by themselves for 5 days while she was out of state across country— she didn’t cared about her son being hospitalized!
Do you agree with her now? What a responsible and caring mother (sarcasm).
Officers called Florida mom Irene Miller in Las Vegas and told her her 9-year-old had been hospitalized with a head laceration after a dumbbell fell on him.
She said she “couldn’t come home” and stayed until Friday, according to Capt. Kim Montes of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Wild, she didn’t care.
The kids had called 911 themselves.
The father (who didn’t know she had left them unsupervised) then took the children.#TrueCrime #ChildAbuse

Reason 5,295,471 why immunity for government employees should not exist.
This is my family. I refused warrantless entry because the Fourth Amendment still applies when CPS shows up with armed deputies. I offered a welfare check without police; they refused.
The next day they returned with emergency removal orders and took both of our daughters, including our one-month-old breastfeeding infant, and placed them in a foster home with a single father of 3 boys 😠. There was no criminal charge against us and no emergency. After an emergency hearing the court dismissed the removal order. Every major finding was later reversed as unfounded, and DFS abandoned its appeal. The damage—especially to a nursing mother and newborn—was already done.
I have since filed a federal civil-rights lawsuit (Yazdani v. Mieszala et al., EDVA 1:26-cv-03365) over separate LCSO misconduct. Accountability for the CPS side is next.
We are not the only Loudoun family to raise these issues. Sarah Legg (@sarahgracelegg) posted a detailed personal statement describing her own experience with the same worker: she alleges Kelli Hedrick abused her position, coordinated with law enforcement to have her arraigned while eight months pregnant (threatening jail, a fine, and re-education), and showed a pattern of manipulative conduct and poor judgment toward families. She specifically called out “deep concerns about Kelli Hedrick’s judgment, conduct, and influence on families and the local agencies of Loudoun County.”

“Child support” does not exist. It is an invented term like “assault weapons,” which is designed to elicit an emotional response.
It is alimony and rarely has anything to do with the best interests of the child(ren) or what is necessary to provide for their wellbeing.
Dave Foley was ordered to pay his ex-wife $17,700 a month in child support. That was five times what he actually earned.
If he set foot in Canada, he would be arrested at the border.
When he asked the judge how he’d feed his daughter from his second marriage, he says the court’s answer was simple: “They can rot in hell.”
In 1997, Foley was starring on NBC’s NewsRadio and making about $1 million a year. That year, he separated from his first wife, Tabatha Southey.
An Ontario judge set his payments at $17,700 a month, or $212,400 a year after taxes, based on his sitcom salary.
Two years later, NBC canceled the show. His income dropped by nearly 80%.
He went back to court to lower the payments. The judge said no. The court ruled he had made $1 million once, so he should keep paying like he still did.
His ex-wife lived in a $2.5 million house on a park in Toronto. Foley rented a small loft in downtown LA.
By 2011, he owed more than $500,000 in back payments. Ontario threatened to pull his passport and issued a warrant for his arrest if he came home.
In the video below, Foley explains the math: “I’m paying about five times my income every month in child support, based on a show that hasn’t been on for 12 years.”
He couldn’t work in Canada again until he landed a new sitcom in 2014 and had his paychecks garnished at the source.
The case for the court: a parent shouldn’t get to slash support just because their career slows down.
The case for Dave: locking a canceled actor into 1990s sitcom money under threat of prison is extortion.
Should child support be tied to what you earn today, or the best year you ever had?
There is nothing “unlibertarian” about wanting to protect children from adult “desires,” which is what creates the threat.
Keeping people like this away from kids would still happen in the absence of government and would likely expedite their demise.

Do you understand what pedophilia is?
It's sexual attraction to children who haven't reached puberty. It's not an action.
What's criminalized is the act of child sexual abuse, not pedophilia.
Few things are more unlibertarian than creating thought crimes, criminalizing desire.
Holy shit. She did it. She really did it.

It’s kinda part of having kids and having to work, even in two-parent homes. They weren’t left alone for five days. Not everyone can be home 24/7 or arrange for 24/7 care. My latchkey generation understands.
These imbeciles perpetuate the haunted house by getting in bed with politicians and policy orgs enjoying publicity-subsidized or privately-funded, armed and layered security while simultaneously maintaining and promoting policies that create soft targets mass shooters prefer.
